    Lg 47le8500-za

    Hello
    I have bought a cheap lg led tv 2010 model. 47le8500-za
    With a defect mainboard. The previous owner wasn't fair.
    He did not tell me he had bake the mainboard.
    Problem now i need a other mainboard.
    The mainboard number is ebu60867152
    Does someone have a mainboard for a reasonable price.
    I will post some pictures.

    Try e-bay.com. If you can post pictures of the PSU and the connectors to the Main Bd. We could self test the PSU to see if it is really worth while replacing that Main Bd. Post clear focused close-up pictures of the back of the TV with the cover removed. If you can get this TV going it would be a nice TV to have.

      I tested the power psu. That is oke.
      100% mainboard problem
      Previous owner baked it!

        I have looked in e-bay-US and could not find a board like that. Well the Main Bd. is not working now so perhaps if you can get a Hot-air Station and heat the BGA chip for 10minutes at 350C, that might work. I have done this already with several LG Main Bds. and they seem to hold out, like 2 years already.

          This is a common problem with this model. First the HDMI chip fails and then the cpu due to bad BGA solder on the mainboard. That is the reason he baked it in the oven.
          The mainboards are on ebay but the price is way to high because they are usually not available.

          Are the components missing? If not try to heat up the board with a heatgun ( not a hairdryer ). Add some flux under the cpu and hope for the best......
          You need to remove the heatsink for that.
          I only repair Panasonic plasma tv's! Currently owning a TX-P55VT50 and still searching for a ZT60!

            No nothing missing but the bga leaked solder.
            I think it ain't gone work. Bga's have dropped down

              I don't understand the 'dropped down' means. You have nothing to lose Use the Hot-air station or heat gun and with flux at the sides if the BGA chip...heat it up and give it a try.

                  OK. I think it has lifted. The back part that is dropped down is how it is supposed to be seated.

                    The left side is normal. The right side has dropped down
