Panasonic TX-47AS650E Blinks 1 time , Replacement LED?

    Hey guys ,

Bought a defective 47 inch Panasonic LED tv real cheap. Planning on repairing it for sale.
I normally repair Panasonic plasma's but i took the gamble on repairing this model.
Tv starts up and gives a image but it shuts down after a few minutes. Before it shuts down the backlight starts flickering and i noticed a black bar in the backlight so 1 row is not working. Tv shuts down with 1 blink ( protection ).

So im 100% sure the LED's are failing or maybe a bad connection. These models are famous for that. Have not opened up the tv yet but im planning to replace just the LED(s) and not the strip.
What LED do i need , are there common LED's like the Osram duris E5? Or can i find the type of LED on the strip?
Anyone repaired this model before? If so what LED's did you use?

Im asking this because removing the panel is something i want to do only 1 time. ( Minimal chance on ruining the panel ).

    Thanks.

    They are being sold as " V14 S DRT P 47 R2 L2 LED strip ".

Need to know what the LED name is.

I have been using aliexpress for leds but this seller on ebay is really helpful send him a message with the led strip number thats used in the tv im sure he will advise the main thing also is getting the correct led footprint as anode/cathode has one pad larger than the other.

yes maybe a bad contact a lot of people hard wire the led strip joint connections.
reece has a video on youtube showing how he does it.

If you want to open up this panel only once as you said then, if I may recommend, replace ALL the strips and not just the failed LEDs. I have sometimes found that replacing the failed LEDs will work for awhile and then the others that seemed good will start to fail one by one.

Thanks! Replaced the led with one from a 32 inch AS600. It had edge light.

Tv works but the colour of the led is different. Waiting for the replacement leds.

If it's edge lit, I believe it's one of these LEDs ?
