    Samsung UN46ES7500F constant reboot

I bought this tv from someone that was selling it broken with 4 pairs of 3d glasses for 25$, figured it was a good deal, they said they had it for 6 months then it broke, took it to the repair shop who replaced the main/wifi/power board in June of 2013 then Samsung wouldn't honor warranty so it's basically been sitting ever since

I took it home, plugged it in, worked perfect for about an hour then started randomly rebooting, did some reading and found it was very common for these tv's but never found a common answer for what was wrong, upon taking it apart I noticed one of the pinholes on the plug connecting main to power was brown but could have been caused before boards were replaced

    Re: Samsung UN46ES7500F constant reboot

So a little bit of an update, I had found a video on Facebook of a guy that had the same "es" style smart TV that was doing the same thing, he said he opened up back of tv and unplugged WiFi board and it fixed the problem, I did the same thing and tried using the tv and instead of randomly rebooting after tv running for about an hour perfectly it ran perfect for 5-6 days before it started shooting of again.....make sense to anyone?

        Re: Samsung UN46ES7500F constant reboot

So is smps considered the whole power board, reason I ask is it was supposed to be replaced under warranty but as the pics show if the power board was replaced the ribbon cable between it and main definitely wasn't cause it is discolored, as far as I know the t-con was never touched so that might be my first thing to try

The connector is discolor due to heat caused by contact resistance between the female contacts and the male pins on the board. Samsung knows about the problem that is why it made the bulletin for it.

Samsung UN50KU6300F constant reboot, bad backlights?
              by x_orange90_x
This TV is in a constant reboot where the screen very dimly lights up for about 2 seconds and says SMART TV. I checked the power supply and visually all components look good. I unplugged the main board to see if the backlights would come on but they do not. I also tried my LED tester on the backlight plug and didn't get anything. I know some Samsungs will not light off a single led is out regardless of using a tester, so I'm thinking they are bad. I found a whole set for about $25 which isn't bad, but before I buy them is like to know if they would indeed cause a constant reboot like this tv is...

              Samsung QE50Q60TA rebooting
              by plytek
              Hi all.

I'm trying to fix my Samsung QE50Q60TA TV.
              IT's rebooting every few seconds.
I have done some tests and it looks like it stops rebooting when I tape pin 46 (I thinks it's FB_1) on the ribbon tape that connects two boards atteched to screen, but nothing is visible, just backlight is solid and I can hear sound. Taping over other pins doesn't work.
Have also soldered two pins on the motherboard to check if I can get an image on the rights side of the tv, but it keeps rebooting.
Can anyone suggest what I can test and do to get it working again please?...

Hello everyone, I'm working on a Samsung TV that constantly rebooting.

              MB/PSU unit: BN9654185QE

It loads up to the main menu then as soon as the backlight goes brighter it reboots.

First I suspected the LCD panel, so a disconnected the LCD display from the mainboard but did the same thing.

Then I removed the backlight connector which only delayed the bootloop by a minute maybe, I know it because I test it with the remote, it does gives the menu sounds a bit longer.

Also I have to note, that the MB/PSU combo gives out a very noticible...
