    Sharp LC-46D65U Blinking - need code info

    Hello.

    I have a Sharp LC-46D65U that has a blinking code that I have not run across before. The code is as follows:

    OPC / Power - both blink together 1 time
    Power - blinks 1 time.

    This then continually repeats.

    I tried the reset options and the Power Light will come on, but no sound or video. I cannot turn the TV on or off with the side buttons.

    If I unplug it and turn it back on, the blinking code returns,,,has anyone encountered this particular problem before?

      Is it a code ? Or is it firmware related ?

          Oh the reason I ask is just started looking at an Aquos which when plugged in shows light blue-grey light no opc and doesn't react to buttons but just blinks slowly. To me that seems to be a stuck in startup problem and looking through many Sharp posts the blink codes are mentioned but never found and at best seem to be a guess albeit educated.

              Power twice, OPC once sounds like a "DET_15V" error. I attached some diagrams to help you check it.

                  the components circled in RED,,,did you do that based on past experience as being the problem for this error or was that hard coded in the documentation...just wasn't sure if you are also saying that those components are usually the problem..thanks

                      Just circled where I would start checking to verify that the 15V detection signal is getting to the microcontroller.

                          Hello friends I need help with this TV SHARP lc-46d65u which had problems with the source, after repairing said source the tv throws the following error code
                          LED_POWER and LED_OCP blink 1 time then LED_POWER twice

                              Hi, I've been given this laptop which upon plugging the charger it produces a blinking code, and it goes as follows:

                              "3 AMBER, 5 WHITE"

                              Pressing the Power Button, the machine seems to power up, as the fan spins (at a normal rate), but after a few seconds the power cuts off, and the cycle repeats.


                              Searching on Google for the blinking code for this device doesn't return any valuable information. The code is not listed on the service manual. However, I found out that for others or similar models "3 AMBER, 5 WHITE" blinking code...

                              A friend of mine got a problem with his Sharp tv
                              When he plug in the tv a blinking code apperace the power light blinking red for three times fast and the ocd light blinks green slow and permanantly.
                              So we treid to unplug the power and plug it back the code apperace again than we tried to hold volume + and channel - and plug it back and the blinking code has gone and the power light is permanantly green but again no sound and no picture.
                              So what was this blinking means? and what could we do do we have to replace the mainboard or may be the powerbourd or T con ?

                              Hi everyone,

                              I've got a Sharp LC-55N7000U. It has a standbuy LED when plugged in, but powering it on causes it to blink 1 LONG and 5 FAST. Theres no display and no backlight.

                              Nothing I checked has that blink pattern for Sharp TVs and there's only one multi-button on the TV itself so that service menu trick involving the input button doesn't work either. Its a post-Hisense buyout TV so that probably makes sense lol

                              I've tried disconnecting the panel sides from the TCON alternating sides, but no change in behaviour even when the whole TCON is disconnected,...

                              Sharp LC-C5262U failed, what is this code?

                              Hi all,

                              I have a Sharp LC-C5262U that just quit on me after many years. The display and sound went out while watching a program. The power light stays on but the TV is unresponsive.

                              About 2 minutes after plugging it in, I get what I presume is an error code but I have yet to find out what this means. The Power and OPC LEDs blink together once, then the Power LED blinks twice more.

                              I found another post somewhere that referred to this as a "3-1" code, but it was for a different model...
