55" Samsung curved screen removal tips?

Got me a 55" samsung with one LED bank being intermittent. Or top of screen is flashing on off I should say suspecting LEDs,not sure if it's edge lit or not.

Any of you have experience with removing the panel without breaking it instantly? Looking for some tips/hints.

Was thinking of getting a bunch of small suction cups and a vacuum pump and make a rig that holds the cups rigged to the panel.

Never removed a curved screen yet. I would imagine is just a flat LCD panel pushed in by the frame. Honestly that would scare the hell out of me removing one too. I would imagine after removing the plastic bezel there would be some kind of a mounting system holding the LCD to the metal back frame or chassis
Did I leave the soldering iron on?

Curved screen TVs have to be worked on in the upright position. However, removing the screen would be a bit tricky. Never lay it on the front. Lie it down on the back and eight small suction cups, 4 at the top and 4 at the bottom. Run a sturdy string through the cup handles and with a pole (I use broom sticks), carefully lift with a friend's help and rest the poles on a specially designed stand on a safe area.

So two poles, one above a set of 4 cups, strings up from each cup to pole, each person handles a pole? Am I picturing that correctly?

So How flimsy are the Curved screens? I mean a typical LCD screen is somewhat flimsy and I've moved those by myself without much of a problem? are the "Curved Screens" just a flat LCD that are more flexible or are they just rigid?

            Samsung UE55JU6800K half screen dark
            by Chrissygizmo
Hello everyone, I’ve just been given a Samsung UE55JU6800K smart tv as it had white spots on the screen due to the led lenses falling off. After refitting them & putting the tv back together I thought it was a nice easy fix for a free bedroom tv , then I tried it before screwing the back into place. I realised that the right side of the screen was darker than the other side, I removed the screen again as I thought the backlights had failed but they are fine.
I put the screen back in place & turned it back on . The screen seemed to be ok again but different screens on the same...

samsung galaxy ao2s very temperamental after screen replaced
            by Chrissygizmo
Hi , I've recently replaced the screen in my Samsung galaxy ao2s, at first it wouldn't even turn on, it had the charging symbol on the screen when plugged in but the green circle wasn't going around to show it charging....
Ive eventually managed to get it on and working but it's very temperamental...

The battery icon always reads as 50% , when the phone goes into lock screen mode i sometimes can't get the screen back on unless I plug the charger in to get it to light up, also it keeps putting the camera app on.. u think it could be something to do with the side buttons. ...

Samsung UN55J6200AFXZA Splash Screen Comes up, goes out, screen flashes one time and then tv won't turn off.
No picture. No sound that I can tell. Backlights are on and have been checked. Flashlight test no image on screen. I replaced the Eprom chip hoping that was the problem but nothing changed.
            Please help. Thanks in advance!

Samsung LH82QENELGC/EN Help needed - Static line on screen
            by Kiberge
            HI guys!

I've got a Samsung LH82QENELGC/EN with a problem and need some advice and I hope this is the forum to use?
I'm from Norway so I'd like to apology in advance if my description of the fault is kind of simple or the names on the components are way off. 😊

the TV is powering up, working as normally and picture is all good, except a 1.5-inch-wide vertical line of snow/static across the screen.

This TV is a Signage Display/Public Display version and it's been used at my work for 4-5 years showing commercials 24/7. The fault occurred when...

Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen
            by Ryan.man
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...
