LG LCD LED x 2 Mainboard Fault?

HI ALL. I have two Lg Led Lcd Televisions that I have diagnosed the main board as being FAULTY. The first is a 37LV3730 which came in with the reported fault of red smearing while watching television and dvds etc. I hooked it up and sure enough it was flaring little sparkling red bits in random spots across the screen, very noticeable on a red background.
The second tv is a 42LV3730. The main difference that I can see between the two is the size of the screen. This 42 inch switched on but did not turn on the inverter etc and no voltage was fed to the tcon fuse despite the fuse being ok and 12 volts being present on the mainboard. This tv therefore produced no image not even a flash in the dark with a torch etc.
I was fairly certain the mainboard was the issue so I removed the one from the other tv and fitted it and sure enough it came to life, except now it has the flaring etc so the fault has transferred to the other one, which makes me think this fault is also a mainboard.
I upgraded the firmware and the software on this model performed picture diagnostics etc and still the red flaring remains. I can't seem to source a replacement mainboard anywhere so I am hoping to fix one or both of these tvs. Any ideas on what could be causing the mainboard to have these fault conditions?
I have included two pictures the first is showing the fault as a closeup during the Picture Wizard setup. The second is just the general setup screen used during Picture Wizard.

LV picture issues point to a faulty BGA under the main processor.

Is this fixable Diif or do I need another mainboard?

The proper way is to reball the chip, but they can be reflowed.
There are plenty of people that have reflowed with either a paint stripping gun or by baking in the oven if they don't have a hot air station or BGA rework machine. Be careful with either of these methods as they can both kill the mainboard beyond repair. The paint gun being to hot and the oven melting plastic components.

I have a hot air station but have limited expertise with using it diif. What is reballing?

The chip is removed. The solder balls that attach the chip to the board are removed and new ones replaced, before resoldering to the board.
Considering you have a board that's almost working, I'd attempt a reflow on that first. Apply flux around the chip first before applying heat. Do you have a preheater ? If you can heat the board all over to about 100C before applying top heat, it is much easier and less likely to damage the board.

I assume I don't have a preheater Diif as I have no idea what it is lol? Do you have any ideas for the board with no power?

You could try pressing on the main chip that has the red flaring with the tv on and see if this changes the image at all.

The customer has decided to tolerate it the way it is. I have made it more watchable with some adjustments. I would like to fix the one with no power though if possible Diif as it is the bigger screen.

Samsung UE60KU6079 backlight okay mainboard responsive, no picture, no sound
                    by Ierwin
                    Hello everyone,
Ive got a UE60KU6079 on the workbench that is giving me some headaches trying to troubleshoot.
The previous owner stated that there had been white dots on the screen which from the description sounded like some lenses fell of the backlight LEDs.
He had opened the TV from the back, trying to get to the backlight, supposedly gave up, reassebled everything and gave the TV to me.
I expected the worst like ripped COF cables or a cracked panel but could not find anything like that yet.
Anyway I still fully expect that there has been something seriously damaged...

Picture looks stretched out and it looks like every other vertical line is not being drawn though hard to see that in the pics.

I've disconnected each half of the panel and the fault remains exact save for the disconnected side being white.

The original complaint was the tuner stopped working so the main was replaced however the new and old board exhibit the same picture defect.

Nothing is getting hot and pushing on the panel drivers effects no change in the picture.

So with that does anyone know how to enter the Service Menu on this...

T-con suspect issue. Both ribbon cables no picture. One ribbon cable ok. (58pus8545)
                    by Tr0ll
Hi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.

The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.

                    Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.

                    First replacement T-con:

I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)...

SAMSUNG UN55KS9000F picture fades then distorts into vertical lines after 20 seconds
                    by JJAAMM
This was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.

                    Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode...

Samsung UE40K1502AKXXH - flashing LED, no life but still responsive
                    by Sebastijan V.
So, I got this UE40K1502AK(XXH) TV from a friend.
TV has no picture or sound, but it reacts on remote control and power button on bottom side.

                    - When plugged into mains, the LED is red on. If I use remote to power it on for the first time, it flashes 6x then LED remains off. I assume this would be the same as by normal tv?
                    - LED also flashes fast when I push any button on remote controller. If I turn it off with remote, the LED will lit solid red. And by next turn-on with remote, it flashes 5x. Also will flash fast when any remote button is pressed.
                    - The background...
