Hi. I have this tv and the main board failed it was just flashing red. Ordered a new board (ebay) fitted it and tv now flashes green and amber tv screen does flicker for a second when power up is attempted but stays flashing green and amber on the power light I cannot do anything with it via remote or side buttons. All help and suggestions greatfully received and thank you in advance.

Go to Sony website. Download firmware for your model. Unzip to USB stick. Turn on tv and put USB in tv. Wait 45 mins.Did I leave the soldering iron on? -

Hello all!
A lightning burned this TV, Sony Bravia KDL-40W2000 that shows the 3-flash error code.
I have read old threads here about this issue and I'm writing this just to ask an advice.
First I replaced the power supply board (25€) just to discover that the issue remains. Now I have the option to replace the mainboard too (the one with HDMI ports) for another 40€.
Considering I'm not a professional technician just an enthusiast, what would you do? Thanx in advance. -

I just replaced tcon on my sony kdl 65xg9505 and getting green amber leds blinking. all voltages are ok according to working sequence.
i downloaded firmware from sony and there is no .pkg fike.. after extracting it gives another file which contains multiple files like inf, payload.bin and 3, 4 other files. i just did that usb but did not worked. anyone knows anything how to do it..?
green amber blinking stops after while and then starts again. tv responds to remote control on off etc. before installing new tcon backlite was coming on without backlite... -
I have a Sony Bravia KDL-40V2500 that will not power on. The indicator flashes red 3 times.
I do not hear any sound and I cannot see any backlight.
I have tried disconnecting every cable on each board one at a time to see if anything changes.
The only change is when I disconnect AC-DET cable on the Power Supply board or on the other end if I unplug the CN7009 connection on the B-Board and try to power on the TV the indicator will stay on solid green until I power off.
My friend ordered another used power supply board but it is also doing the red indicator flash 3 times... -

i have this sony bravia kdl-43w755c which boot loops. After sony logo, it shows the android animation loading then it restarts…
from what i read online it looks to be an emmc issue…
i’m not familiar with this kind of tv repairs… i’m repairing laptops and gpu’s…
i took out the board and say an samsung 16gb emmc
i don’t have an exact replacement, but i have a few 32 and 64gb emms’s from laptops…
i could try to put one instead of the 16gb one, but will it work?
where do i get the software from?
