Help find value of a 5 color resistor

    Hello guys,
    I am troubleshooting a short in a LG32ls3400 whit a EAX64560501 (1.7).
I have a 5 colour resistor that i cant get into the value.
The colours are black, gold, silver, yellow and red.
Inverting it we have red, yellow, silver, gold and black.
In all resistor calculators i found on the web there is none that has black as first colour or in the last.
    Where am i wrong?

    Thanks to all

Tell us what it shows on your Ohm meter.
It should be 0.24 Ohms + your probes resistance.

Re: Help find value of a 5 color resistor

      It shows 0.7 Ohm - 0.5 (probes) = 0.2 Ohm
      It´s ok.
How did you get to that value reading the colours?
      Thanks

        Black is the TCR.

5 band resistor with a 4th band of gold or silver

Five band resistors with a fourth band of gold or silver form an exception, and are used on specialized and older resistors. The first two bands represent the significant digits, the 3th the multiply factor, the 4th the tolerance and the 5th the temperature coefficient (ppm/K).
