    PHILIPS 42PFL8684H/12 led blinks 2 times, dead IC

    Hi!

    I have problem with PHILIPS 42PFL8684H/12 tv. First it stoped working and red led started plinking two times over some time. When i opened tv then there was ic FDS6930B burned out, so i changed it with control ic NCP5422ADR2G for that ic. After change when i plugged my tv to wall, some electric sound started to come from power board. Something like wants to star up many tomes and then this ic burns out again, all the time in one place. i have done it 3 times now, no changes. Can it be that all SSB board is faulty and i need to change that? Cant find any more parts that is blown up or any way damaged.

      Get the chassis number and try find the service manual. They can be a great help with Philips.

          already tried with that, but no help. There is not much talked about power board, more about SSB. Or its to complicate for me to understand that manual there is lot of talked about how to test if that ic that i changed is faulty, but that i already know that it is. Now i jut need to know where can be the reason why it wont start. If tv is plugged in, and i disconnect one ribbon cable where 12v and other useful things go through and i put it back, for few seconds, backlight turns on and then shuts off again.

              Hello,

              I have a Samsung DM32D display.
              When I try to power it on, the red LED blinks 5 times and nothing happens—the unit won’t start.

              Here’s what I have tried so far:
              1. Disconnected the cable between the mainboard and the power supply → the backlight turns on.
              2. Disconnected the main T-CON ribbon cable → same issue as before, the LED still blinks 5 times.
              3. Disconnected one of the two T-CON ribbons to the panel (tested each one separately) → same issue, the LED blinks 5 times.

              From these tests, I suspect the problem might be on the mainboard. Could anyone...

              I have a XR-77A80K here. When plug in & press power, white lindicator light flashes on & off. about 30 seconds later, indicator light flashes 8x red. Checked Sony, Power reset = unplug & plug in. Factory reset involves turning it on, then pressing remote buttons when a picture shows. Well, neither of these "resets" are for a dead set like this. Anyone know what 8 blinks indicates, from the schematic? Thanks!

              Hi,
              I'm working on a HP Victus that is not turning on. When power button pressed it only blinks 3 times with charging led. I have checked input mosfets and they are fine. Also all coils are fine too. Battery was empty but I charged it with my lab PSU and laptop started on batery but is not charging. When battery is disconected and only PSU connected it takes 0 current and not starting. What can be the reason?

              Resolved dead cap which burned mcu(stm32f091rct6) ,between vss and vdd on desoldered mcu is short 5.8oh,is there a way to obtain firmware from it.i have firmware,but i thing this is for wifi/bt board phorus 5 which is on top of amp board(here lies dead mcu)...my stm32 flasher is on the way....

              Hello everyone.

              This is my development machine. I've been using it since two years and half without any problem except sometimes it wouldn't wake up from sleep.
              Lately the issue became more frequent and powering it up would take few seconds to show the POST screen.
              Then the computer refuses to power on at all. Now only the caps lock button flashes 7 times then stops. The charging light is always on whenever a power source is connected (battery or charger).
              I tried long pressing on the power button, after several seconds it would go off then when the button is released...
