    Vizio 601i-a3

    Came across this on side of the road. It will not power on.
    Here are the reading from cn201 on the power board.
    pin
    1. 3.3v 3.3v
    2. ac_det 3.4v
    3. ps_on 3.3
    4. 12V-AU 12.3V
    5. GND

    7. GND

    9. 12_REG 12V

    With cn201 disconnected the are.
    pin
    1. 3.3v
    2. 4.47v
    3-9 0v
    10. 2.5v
    11-15 0v

      Looks like a mainboard fault with both the Backlight (LED ON) & Tcon On voltages missing.
      Willing to help but I'm no expert.

        I have this same LED TV being discussed here, although on mine, when powered on, the splash screen shows and after about 3 seconds, the backlight flashes a bit brighter, then the set shuts down. The only thing that I have found that makes the set do anything different is if I power it on with the LED plug disconnected, it stays on. Where should I go from here? Thanks...

          You should have started your own new post for your TV. Nevertheless, it would seem you have a backlight issue.

                I replaced the mainboard and perfect!!! Another set save from the dump. My, I mention it looks good on my wall.
