Good day
The set powers up first to a red led then blue led. after the Telefunken logo the words "smart tv" come up with seven successive dots appearing. (photo 2)
The set doesn't go beyond this point, just cycling through the dots, and the only way to switch it off is to unplug the mains.
A green led on the logic pcb flashes on and off at about a one second frequency. (the same frequency as the dots on the screen appear.)
I tried shorting pins 5&6 on the eeprom 25Q16 (circled photo3), but didn't help.
I also cleaned/ re-seated all plugs and connectors as well.
CN801 delivers voltages from the psu to a smaller pcb before it gets to the cpu pcb.
CN801 voltages: (from psu pcb) Photo 4
1. PS-ON 0.1v
2. STBY 5.2v
3. GND 0.0v
4. N.C
5. N.C
6. GND 0.0v
7. D5.3V 5.1v
8. D5.3V 5.1v
9. GND 0.0v
10. D15V 15.4v
11. D15v 15.4v
12. NC
CN2 voltages (the small pcb) photo 3
1. 11.8v
2. NC
3. 5.1v
4. 5.1v
5. NC
6. NC
7. GND
8. GND
9. 4.7v
10. 5.2v
I think I've seen the thread on this same fault before, but can't seem to find it either by description, or by model name. Could someone please help steer me in the right direction.
