LG Plasma 60PB6650 Screen Flashes, No Display, Good Voltages

    I have a 60" LG Plasma, 60PB6650....

Upon power up, a Power PCB relay clicks, the screen flashes and then nothing. After a few seconds, the process repeats...

I get good voltages (VS 207v, VA 55v) at power up/relay click... Then voltages start to drop and then back up on the subsequent power up/relay click..

Thinking X/Z Sus, I replaced that board...

Still no go.. Still nothing but screen flash and relay click...

    X-Sus, Control Board or Main??

Main board dead then. Or LVDS cable, but that's very rare. Replace the main. 50" 1080p one should be okay. 42" one is not.

Sorry to bring up an old post, but I just had the exact same thing. I followed this thread and decided I needed a new main board. I ordered a new main board from a supplier and installed it, now the TV does come on, but sometimes get stuck on the boot screen, and sometimes after about 2-3 minutes will go to the HDMI input. Sometimes buttons on the remote respond in about 10 seconds, and sometimes not at all. I have not attached a device to see if picture will play until I resolved this issue. I was thinking something happened to the software? But then again a few times when I hit "Input", after it waited for about a minute, it would bring up the Inputs screen like normal, but you cannot move the box to select anything. The only button on the remote that works correct is the power button, it will turn it off and on just fine. Any ideas? Any help would be much appreciated. I also downloaded the .epk file to a usb to try to update the software but it does not act like it recognizes the stick.

You received a bad mainboard. It needs a re-balling or at least a re-flow.
See if you can return it for another one.

Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen
                        by Ryan.man
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

Panasonic Plasma TH-50PZ85U No screen No blinks on red power light
                        by Alicat
                        Hello,

Stopped by this site trying to fix my parents Panasonic Plasma TV.

                        Model number is TH-50PZ85U

Power comes on and the red power light stays on solid.

Did a few checks like hold the power button on for 60 seconds, hold the - Volume while holding the menu button, no luck, still@ blank grey screen as the screen lights up very vague.

I also hear a few clicks.

I also think my parents said there was a thunderstorm and the TV failed after that.

Section 6 in the service manual talks about power and no screen,...

Macbook Air M2 A2681 Kernel panics after screen replacement
                        by reformatt
Just had a customer bring in a M2 MBA A2681 that had had a screen replacement in April at another repairer. Since then, she has been getting intermittent kernel panics. It's an aftermarket screen, and of course it fails in diagnostics as the calibration hasn't been done. The error in the panic log is "No device added after powering on the rails".

It seems the original repairer has swapped the board and the screen to other MAC's, and said that it isn't a screen issue. From what I understand, by doing a quick search on Google, this is in fact a screen issue. The panic relates...

                        by smic717394
                        Hi,

I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on...

                        by Chrissygizmo
Hello everyone, I’ve just been given a Samsung UE55JU6800K smart tv as it had white spots on the screen due to the led lenses falling off. After refitting them & putting the tv back together I thought it was a nice easy fix for a free bedroom tv , then I tried it before screwing the back into place. I realised that the right side of the screen was darker than the other side, I removed the screen again as I thought the backlights had failed but they are fine.
I put the screen back in place & turned it back on . The screen seemed to be ok again but different screens on the same...
