Hello all, have a jvc here with no picture, shine a torch on the screen and you can see the menu screen, it's a vestel 17IPS20 main board, I have checked the fuse on the inverter board and it's ok. Any ideas?

He says if the voltage on the bank of diodes drops to 115 volts there's an led out. Mine drops to 123 volts, close enough, hmmm anyone had the same thing?Comment

I'd say that's close enough. Yes, I've replaced LEDs on Vestels.Comment

The surround needs removing, then the LCD then the polarising sheets carefully keeping them in order. The LEDs will then be visible on strips. Identify the faulty one(s) and replace directly or by using the stacking method. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxwdC7V5Ue0Comment
