Re: Toshiba 32l6353d firmware update
Thanks Vince, il have a go later on, do you think that because the board is out of a 39” it’s affecting the picture and giving it a wierd picture? The original problem with the set was that it wouldn’t come out of s/by. The panel has cured that, now it’s just the picture

Re: Toshiba 32l6353d firmware update
The board is out of a 39", and so in the menu info it's coming up with the model number of the tv it came out of. I have the firmware but it won't update and change it to a 32", the original board number is 32l4300 Rev 1.02a. The one I have put in there is exactly the same but from a bigger screen

Toshiba 32l6353d firmware update
Hi guys, I have a tosh that wasn't coming up with any picture, so I changed the main board and now we have a picture but it's all kind of solarised, (il put a picture on) the board I replaced was out of a 39" tosh, would that give me the funny picture? I'm trying to update the board with the firmware of the 32" but it won't change it, any sudgestions?

Re: Toshiba 32D1333DB
Just to close the thread, the main board I replaced was giving me a slightly different fault, so i returned it and fitted another one with the exact numbers and hey presto fault curedwhether or not the small string of numbers contributed to it or it was just a faulty board I don’t know. Thanks for all the help though, feel free to have a stab at the Panasonic I have on the listings, that one is a bugger

Re: Panasonic txl39em5b
Just an update if anyone's interested, replaced the power board, main board and t con, still giving a 14 blink error code. It's not looking good

Re: Toshiba 32D1333DB
Hi guys, if i disconnect the t con panel its still the same fault, flashing red an green s/by light. is it worth trying a firmware update do you think? The numbers on my original main board are virtually identical to the replacement, and seeing as its gone from dead to a flashing s/by light maybe your right about a faulty board.

Re: Toshiba 32D1333DB
Sounds like it's heading for the recycling,,why is it that an exact replacement board isn't the same programming as the original one?

Re: Toshiba 32D1333DB
Well in case anyone wants an update, it was the main board causing it to be dead, so I changed it and now the s/by led is flashing red and green, somebody mentioned it might be the software as each board is slightly different, but there's no update available, unless somebody knows differently?

Panasonic txl39em5b
Hi guys have a Pana with a 14 blink error code, ppl are saying it's either the power board or possibly the A board. Anyone had any luck narrowing it down as there quite expensive boards. Many thanks....
