Element ELEFT436 will not power on

This tv has the red light on. When I hit the power button nothing happens. All the caps look good. Want to make sure it is the main board and not something else before I order the part.

What pins can I jump out to power it on?

Re: Element ELEFT436 will not power on

Need good clear straight on pictures of back of tv with cover off and each board.

Need voltages from connector that goes from power supply board to main board. Will need pin#- PIN DESCRIPTION -Pin voltage in standby-Pin voltage when pushing power button and picture of connector on power supply board.
    Format:
Pin# - Pin Description - Pin Voltage standby - Pin voltage power on
    1 - XXXXXXX - XXv - XXXv
    2 - XXXXXXX - XXXv - XXXv
    3 - XXXXXXX - XXXv - XXXv
    4 - etc.
I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

Re: Element ELEFT436 will not power on

There are some voltages given top and bottom of the board 5V, 12V and perhaps some others. Have you checked that they are present.

The only thing I can see is a port that says "power Upgrade" and it has 12v at it.

And is there 12V on it? There's also a 5V marker there too on the bottom board.

Yes there is 12v, I failed to see anything marked 5v to test, But did have a 5v reading if you look at the chart.

I also attached pics of the front and back of the board. Tell me where to test and I will.

There are two voltage regulators that I can see on the top of the board. If you can measure the voltages on the 3 pins and report back.

There's a 3.3V point and a 5V point on the underneath side of the board and a marking for F2 (normally denotes a fuse) which I cannot see but it could be a fuse within the transformer.

On the top at the voltage regulator to chassis grd....5.19v, 3.28v, 0V

On the bottom we have 5.28v and 3.28v

Fuse is good, it is on the top (I think it is a fuse and under the 2 diodes).

The second voltage regulator on the top, (near the 2 long connectors) measure 5.20v, 1.8v and 0

Since it is all one board. I think the only thing you need to worry about is if your power button or remote is sending signal to board.

Not really, it could be bad led back lights putting the TV into protection mode.

Well if you press power button and nothing happens likely not backlights

Put the two probes of your meter to tow legs of the cap EB802 and take the DCV reading before the power switch is activated and after the power switch is activated.

Can you do the same check on EB1, the large capacitor.

That power supply is an always on power supply. It has only one power transformer for all the power supply and it is running otherwise you will not have any DC on the cold side.
Cap EB802 looks to be the filter cap for the Voltage boost converter for the LED backlights,
I expect it to be higher than 58V so the BL-ON may not be present.
There EEPROM and board kits for the TV.
