    Vestel MB '17MB82S' unknown component.

Hi, guys. I need help. TV Digihome. MB 17MB82S.
    Can someone help me, please?
Here is burned out component on the MB, marked with the arrow. Maybe someone knows what it is? There is no marks on this component. It is capacitor or resistor? Or maybe a fuse? There is resistance between ends of this component: 0.7 Ohm. In diode mode:0.002 In Ohm mode: 1.0 Ohm, 1.35 kOhm when connected to the GND (bouth sides). No beeps on any side when connected to GRD in beep mode.
Any help is welcome. Thanks in advance.

It may be Ferrite bead and it is connected to the switched MOSFET Q48 for supplying the Voltage T-CON board?

Re: Vestel MB '17MB82S' unknown component.

Thank you, budm for your answer. No, the black connector goes to the power supply (see photo attached). But connection CN14 (white) goes to the T-CON by ribbon cable. The lower side of that unknown element is connected to the 3th leg of MOSFET Q48.
It is possible that Voltage goes from black connector (from PSU), through unknown element,to MOSFET Q48 and then to T_CON board? I have no idea where can I get Ferrite bead (today) ... Can I put there a Fuse or 0 Ohm resistor(if possible) instead of Ferrite bead?

Re: Vestel MB '17MB82S' unknown component.

I have an identical looking board here that has a 0 ohm resistor in that location.
Just removed the sticker and it is in fact a 17MB82-2

Re: Vestel MB '17MB82S' unknown component.

Page 29 of the manual shows it as a F* with a value of 60R. it connects Q48 input to one of the supplies, either 3v3, 5, or 12v depending on the panel
Its used for emi supression, It should read as a short similar to a coil.
60R is the impedance at 100Mhz, I'm sure a fuse, 0 ohm resistor would work

Thank you everyone, guys for the answers. 12v goes through this fuse. I did put 0 Ohm resistor there. Now I have red light coming on when TV connected to the mains. When I push ON on remote control, red light blinks 6 times and gone. TV has to work, but it not work. No backlight even. From PSU to backlight socket goes 96v straight after switching on. Stays (96 volts) for a few seconds and drops down to 28v. Maybe something wrong with PSU? On the Main board there are 12v, 3.3v and 5.24v (bit high for 5v?) Any one can help me with this, please?

Do the backlights flash once then go out when first turned on? if not I suspect open led string in panel, or you could have a firmware problem, Have a look at this it might be helpfull https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPCisa9BYkk

Re: Vestel MB '17MB82S' unknown component.

Thank you, R_J. You are right. I just replaced both strings (find used) and everything works now as should.New strings are bit longer and with 10 diodes instead of 11 on the old ones. But I think it would't be the problem? Glued strings in the bathtub with double sided tape. It holds strings enough. Connected strings (by wires) straight to the power board socket. Reduced backlight to LOW. That's it. Here is a few pictures about the process I did.
Thanks to all you, guys who spent time with me.Your help was valuable for me.
Thank you very much to all you once more.

One thing more, guys. As I installed strings with 10 LEDs instead of 11 LEDs, I think that voltage can be too high and will cause problems of the backlight in the further? Any ideas, guys?

Two missing backlights may cause a problem

Is there any solution to get a lower voltage to the backlight?

Hello, I have also given 0 ohm resistor. Tv already works, but there is no sound. Surely there will be the same problem with the power supply. Link from page 52. I do not know where to find you please advise. Thanks, Paul

                          Hello,
The TV did not turn on. Turns - work led backlight. Voltage on board 17IPS71 - OK. Board 17MB82S see the damage. Attached photo. According to the forum, it was replaced with a 0 Ohm resistor. The TV picture is already going, but there is no sound. I measured the voltage on the points board.
                          5V_STBY - TP3 - measured 5.19V
                          3V3_STBY - TP4 - Measured 3,30V
                          12V_VCC -TP12 - measured 12.43V
                          VDD_Lineout - TP24 - measured 11.82V
                          5V_VCC - TP13 - measured 5.18V
                          3V3_AVCC - TP15 - measured 3.21
                          1V1_MT5135 - TP10 - point not found
                          1V5_VCC - TP18 - measured 1.55V
                          1V2_AVCC - TP21 - measured at 1.21V
The only wrong voltage is TP15. I have a wiring diagram - but I do not have the components installed on the board. Please help me anyone? thank you all.

Hi, replacing the IADUE - TV circuit already sounds.
The TV was in standby for about 10 hours. When the TV is turned on, only the backlight is on. After 5 minutes, the image also appeared.
The woman turned on the TV, so I do not know if the LED was on standby.
Probably a problem with some tension.
                              Thanks for any help. Paul

                                Power Board - 17IPS11
                                Mainboard - 17MBS82S

Red blinking standby light is on steady, press power button on remote and light flashes 7 times then stays steady, press power on remote again light flashes 10 times and then goes off.
Checked all the voltages on the power board inc backlight circuit, they all read ok and are stable. Backlights tested with backlight tester and all work fine (2 strips x11LED on each).
No picture, backlight or sound just blinking...

                                hello there,
I am trying to fix a Walker 40 TV - it has Vestel 17IPS71 3R3 as PSU and 17MB82S for logic.

                                How I got here...
The TV had shorted USB connector, which I fixed. TV turned on. Ran for a few hours on HDMI input. Started to see some dark dots/patterns on the screen as seen on the photo.
I restored to factory setting. The TV has rebooted only to a blinking standby LED. It sat there for a number of minutes after which I disconnected it.
Now, after plugging it back in - there is not even a standby LED.

My 17IPS71 provides 12V, no standby...

It is not worth repairing...
