    Ok, I'll try this today.
I'm aware of the service ("integrator") menu - but since I can't get a display, I wouldn't be able to read anything. There is also an RS232 service port that accepts service instructions - if I can just find a working laptop with an RS232 port.

I pulled the P2 connector that feeds VSUS to the Y-drive board and found that the power supply is outputting 224VDC as it should. If I plug P2 back in and it drops to about 202VDC again. I guess there's an issue with the Y-drive board that I got off of eBay then, maybe a leaky cap? Could also be a buffer issue but since the buffer circuits are bonded to the panel there's not much more I can do about that. I'll see if I can find a tested Y-Drive on eBay but I don't want to stick too too much money into this older plasma.

I suppose you could get disconnect Y drive buffers and check voltage at VSUS and see if it's stable at 224v. That would be assures tale sign that there's a short in the buffers
Did I leave the soldering iron on?

            Hi,

Unfortunately (for me), the Y-Drive was solid at 224V with the buffers disconnected. I'd be happy to have the PS go to a good home...you've been very helpful so it's yours - just cover the shipping. Check your PM for my email and we can go from there.

            Thanks again!
