Samsung PN58B650S1F Sound but not picture

Alright ive taken on this and so here we go...took of the back and i see the coils on power supply there is black tinge in the middle bit not to sure un less i take the board out..i plugged the set in and there is power to start up theres the samsung chime and red led in front and also blinking green on logic board, does not look like a code its continuous..But then after a few minutes something started burning up and stink so i shut her down..fuses are good and thats where im at...need a manual cant find one B650 SERIES heres some pics..

The solder on all the postive sides of most of the components look like theve been through a lot

Might as well let what's started to burn up continue then replace it as probably too late now. The set is operating normally except for picture but no other useful info given. Then again I'm a fatalistic so others may suggest something else.

what, like some voltage measurements.
now that is crazy.

let's start with va and vs voltage and go from there.

i take it that all boards are hooked up for these voltage measurements and your vs/va are close to the panel specs.

there will be a couple more voltages to check, probably ve, vsc, vscan, -vy or similar.

Yes they were all connected then ive taken y sus buffer board tests and there seems to be a couple shorted ic chips. Looks like they are easy repair just dont have the equipment for that yet

Well ive bought a hotair station and almost ready to do this repair...needing some advce plz..ive aquired a couple old boards to practise on just not to sure about the cosmetic stuff
