    Additional photo?

    404. That’s an error.

With your meter across the two legs of the capacitor C7806, what voltage do you have when you first switch on. It may just spike and then drop just as quickly.

46V sounds awful low when the capacitor is rated at 160V so I would expect around 120V DC.

What voltage is at TP7501 (D7507)?

How many leds are in each strip. I believe they are 6V leds so should give a better idea of what the voltage should be. (6V x Number of leds in the strip)

Link fixed- The additional photos are showing the two LED strips, and the one that goes *almost* completely dark after all the LEDs flash on really bright.

It looks like each strip has about 36 LEDs.

C7806 starts at 46VDC, then jumps up to 135V, where is stays until the TV shuts itself off.

135V at the leds would appear to be correct. If they were connected as one strip of 36 leds x 3V = 108V which is more than enough to keep the leds on.

Can you post pictures of the power supply board especially the area around the led circuitry top and bottom. Nice and sharp so you can see the connections and components

Done.. The best I could do. There are no visible discolorations, puffy/leaking/smelling like fish caps, etc with the exception of diode D7306 (The legs are pretty tarnished).

I even brought tout the headgear magnifiers to check for burns/discolorations.

Is there anyway to jump the wires and turn on the Backlights with Main/A-Board disconnected from P-Board?

Will not turn on, I get a red status light, no blinks except one briefly if I press power again. No picture.

                        by Vebririon
                        Hi everyone,

I'm new here and trying to repair my Panasonic TX-P50V10E plasma TV, which is currently showing the 6 red blink error code.

Just for context: I'm used to building PCs and installing modchips in old consoles, but this is my first time trying to fix a TV. I'm French, and while my English is okay, I'm using ChatGPT to help translate and clarify my messages as much as possible — so please forgive any odd phrasing.

I'm also not very experienced with using a multimeter, but I'm very motivated and ready to follow instructions carefully and report...

Panasonic Viera TX-P46G10E 11 blink even after fan replacement
                        by Jacksoft
                        Hi all,
I have here a Plasma TV TX-P46G10E that before had a problem where it had issues with 11 blinks (FAN SOS) BEFORE starting normally. After that it works for all day long.
It had some bad cold solder and I remade them all. After I replaced a fan that was half-dead (no RMP signal from the respective pin, but ok with 9V).
Now the TV power up instantly and works perfect... only without the backplate!
If the backplate is placed on the TV shutsdown after about 10min and start blinking with the 11 blinks. If I shutdown and re-powerup it starts blinking after a bunch of...

Panasonic ZT60 plasma tv with strange behavior and 8 blink code
                        by cloo
I recently got my hands on a 60" Panasonic P60ZT60 plasma tv (european model) that has some strange issues along with an 8 blink code.
It know this tv is getting old but it was once considered one of the best plasmas ever made, and i think it is still holds on to that even by todays standards.

So, long story short. When i first got the tv it had a very bright washed out picture with very raised blacks in all picture modes and i couldn't find the cause in the picture setting menus.
After doing a factory reset this problem was gone and the picture was back to...

LG 49UJ6500 LCD panel lighter band that goes away
                        by howardc64
49UJ6500 LCD panel has a lighter band on top when first powered on. Goes away (or gets much fainter) after TV on for a few min. After powered off for awhile and power back on, same band appears. If powered on immediately after powering off, no or much fainter band. Running the latest firmware.

Disassembled the TV and lifted the LCD panel during testing. Band is on the LCD panel (can see the band on the panel as I lift it slightly) Backlight is perfectly even at the top edge. Double checked LCD panel alignment in the frame and is perfect but since band moved with the panel, its on...

SAMSUNG UN50TU8000F rebooting, backlight ok. No 12v to panel boards.
                        by triplefour
TV flashes backlight then reboots over and over. no image. Client said it used to have image for a bit before rebooting. Got worse over time.

                        tcon is built into mainboard.
Only one cable goes to panel boards.
there is a cable from one panel board to the other that links them.
cost cutting measure that results in us having harder time to diagnose.
removing the link to the second panel board allows TV to stay on with stable backlight but no image.
used cut off tape method to mask 1 maybe 2 pins on the side of the cable that goes to that second panel board....
