Re: Panasonic TH-L50B6D screen flickering, goes to standby, red light blinking
I have tried that but instead of using 1K Ohm resistor I used a 100 Ohm one and made the circuit like in image, nothing happens.
I'll try what you said but I have don't 1K ohm resistor with me right now. Will report back tomorrow....

Re: Panasonic TH-L50B6D screen flickering, goes to standby, red light blinking
[B]So everybody here is telling me it's the Backlight problem. Since I have zero XP in repairing TVs that's why I'm trying to figure if the problem is something else.
Thanks for the help.
Since Panasonic's Service center don't replace or provide Backlight, I think I'm gonna have to do it myself.
Before I go and try to replace Backlights, I just have few more questions.
If you'll look at voltage chart I provided in Post...

Re: Panasonic TH-L50B6D screen flickering, goes to standby, red light blinking
[B]1. Attachment TV.DOC file has some voltages I've checked maybe this would help. About opening the panel, I'm keeping that card as last resort.
2. Since BL_SOS voltage is all over the place I thought maybe that is causing the problem. So, my first guess was that If LED(Back lights) are bad then they are triggering the BL_SOS fluctuation, so I disconnected the LD3 connector. But the BL_SOS was same (fluctuating)....

Can we use this method to check the LED Driver board in the new LED TV where LED Driver board is separate from the Power Supply Board, like in this
Panel is LC500DUE SF/R1Re: Inverter tester using old CFL

Re: Sharp LC-70le660u shuts off power light blinks
Is there any way to jump the wires and turn on the Backlights without giving any power Main Board. Cause I read somewhere you could but couldn't understand how to do it.
Image shows the O/G post about jumping wires.
I have the schematics for my TV if anyone could tell me I'd grateful....

Re: Sharp LC-70le660u shuts off power light blinks
I have the same problem but my TV is panasonic. In my case backlights are flashing ON and OFF. I did the flashlight test with backlight disconnected the Panel stays ON.
OP could have made the TV stay on longer if he could somehow be able decrease the backlight and brightness settings. That's what I did and now it stays ON with backlight flashing but TV doesn't go to standby.
If OP and Repliers could help me. I'd post more info about my TV.

Did you find a solution for this?
My TV also has the same problem
On Service Manual it says
Contents : BL_SOS
Check Point : A Board
Panel
What does it mean? Please explain....
