Lg 42ls3450 - eay62713701 psu comp id

Hi all looking for some help identifying a part on the above PSU, part has damaged and cannot identify the marking on it to order a new one. Any help identifying this part would be greatly appreciated, I do think it is a ceramic wirewound resistor, but like I say I cannot make out any marking too tell me the value. The reference on the PCB is TH101.

Looks like a current limiter. If you look on ebay some boards have a thermistor in that spot.

That is supposed to be for inrush current limiter resistor and usually be NTC Thermistor.
But any way, that part will blow if the circuit has shorts circuit so I will check the bridge rectifier, the MOFETs, diodes, etc. first.

Had a quick check over as just got my meter back from a friend,in diode check mode all diodes, bridge rectifier and the on board fuse all OK. (Measuring in circuit anyway.) Only thing that seems cooked is that Resistor, hunted for Schamatics cant seem to find any.

Picture below are the parts I have tested (apart from the part circled thats on the heatsink Q101 - will get a PN and look up the datasheet on it later)

Any more pointers would be greatly appreciated, thanks all.

I need good clear straight shot pictures of the bottom side of the board so I can give you the test points to test.

Got the ICL Markings but can't work out what I need to buy, pic attached.


Budm - also have attached clear pics of the underside of board. Thanks, if not clear enough let me know and I'll redo them.

ICL-05 5R00MSMT is the Inrush Current Limitter, NTC, 5 Ohms Cold, it is encased in ceramic body instead of disc shape.

It looks like it is bad due to cold solder joints on the two legs of the device.
What resistance do you get between the two legs of that ICL?
Same part is used and listed in the BOM of LGP4247-13LPB EAY62810901.

I'm getting >1.7 MOhm and rising in circuit, shall I remove and measure? Thanks budm. Really appreciate your help. Was hoping to find one on eBay or RS. Will see what happens

Its bad. I still need to give you the test points to test for shorted circuit.

This maydo as a replacement i cant seem too find any in the uk? maybe try maplin i know they sell some ive looked on rs and cant see them listed also i wasnt sure what watt is required

Fitted the NTC 5D-13, and TV now has life and working I'll run it a few days before returning to customer. Many thanks to all for the help.
