JVC AV 2110EE dead after turn off

Hi folks, today i have a problem with an old CRT TV
It turns on but after turn off it's completely dead, even if i unplug it and then try go turn it off it stays dead. But after 2-3 hours unplugged it can turn on again and then dies after shutdown...
    Here are the specs:
    Chassy: CKF0708-CH2-1
    STR F6653
    TB1226EN
    M37212M6
    AN5265
    LA7840
    D1878

    I replaced:
    C942 - 100uF/160V
    C924 - 100uF/25V
    C945 - 1000uF/16V (replaced with 2200uF/16V)
STR F6653 with a new one..
And also resolder all ICs and flyback
    All this with no luck
If you have some ideas please share with me...
    Best regards, ragis

i think it is possibly a switching ic latching and holding latched with stored power of a capacitor . that is just a thought and it might be something more simple as a bad solder joint .
does the tv have standby ?

I don't have remote to switch it to standby, and yes if i unplug it it goes dead right away without warming period...

Ok, some news guys found that the PTC(posistor) is burned up, it says:
            96724 PH98146 and it's 3 pin
I have 2 pin posistor solder it and nothing happens again..
Should i purchase the same PTC or i can bypass it somehow to turn the tv on... ?

Try and find a replacement. I seem to vaguely remember it stops the inrush current to the degauss coils.

MSI GF63 THIN 11UCX (MS-16R6) LAPTOP WON'T TURN ON AFTER RESTARTING
                by RdeveLabs
                To all the members here...

Let me tell you a little bit about what happened to my laptop (MSI GF63 THIN 11UCX model: MS-16R6) that “maybe” you know how to solve this problem.

So before this problem happened, my laptop was running smoothly. When I wanted to restart my laptop, it looked fine at first. But after I waited for this restart process to take a long time, until finally I panicked (because the restart process did not finish plus the laptop screen only showed a black screen), I immediately pressed and held the power button to force the laptop to turn off. But...

Acer Aspire 4520 won't turn on after reboot
                by robante15
Hello, I have an Acer Aspire 4520 from a couple of decades ago and I want to repair it solely for nostalgia.

It happens that when I turn it on after having been disconnected for a long time, it turns on without problems, it tells me that the BIOS has been reset and that it will load the factory settings, if I tell it to continue, the computer turns on and everything works fine.

The moment I turn it off and want to turn it back on a second time, or restart it and try to start it again, it no longer gives an image, and it no longer responds.

                If I remove the...

Dell latitude e7470 not turn on .power buton on off and Run Power problem
                by masoksian
                Hi everyone,

I am dealing with the problem of turning on and off my Dell e7470 notebook.

The battery charge light is solid white, I press the button, the power indicator and the light on the button are solid for 1-2 seconds and immediately turn off.

The system does not turn on, there is no post.

I removed the RAMs and changed them, changed the battery, RTC battery, AC adapter, removed them and waited, tried again, it does not turn on.
The problem continues in the same way.
I tried to turn on the Fn key, nothing came to the screen....

                Acer Alienware Nitro 5 (GH51G LA-L181P Rev: 1C) & Dell Alienware M15 (GDP50 LA-k452P Rev:1) - Both Shorted PCH (SRKMA)!
                by reessi
                Hello:

I have both these laptops that appeared to have the same fault so I thought I would have a go at replacing the PCH as something to learn, they both are using the same PCH.

                I started on the ACER:

Up on connecting power no signs of life but current is consumed from the bench power supply and the PCH is hot.
All the caps on the top of the PCH are showing 0 ohms and the 3.3v rail is shorted.

I followed the videos from Sorin, Electronics Repair School on Youtube heating from the bottom to install. I practised on around 10 scrap...
