ps_on and dim signals come from the logic board right

Main board sends out those control signals.
When TV is in standby, the PS-ON, and BL-ON (O/F) should be <1VDC, then they should go up to >2VDC when TV is turned on, this is applied to ACTIVE High logic.
Basically though, those signals should change state when TV is turned on and when turned off.

dick barton, i think you have hit on it why these sets are bad about the leds. 2 circuits one controls 22 leds and the other does 44 not the same. im going to try and rewire the leds so there are 33 on both circuits

"when you power the set off the ps_on stays at 3.34v and the dim stays at 3.09 volts. the o/f does go to 0volts." That is not normal for PS-ON, the power supply is stuck on.

If it was designed that way then do not change it since it will trip the protection circuit. Are you sure they are not equally driven?
Need to look up the spec of the LCD panel, TVP: TPT500J1-HVNO7.U

Are these the same LED strips?

How many does it have in your panel?

Dim is the control to dim down the backlights, just light light dimmer in your house.

what is real funny is that the leds that are on led 2 which is the 2 strips with 22 leds where dimmer the the other 4 sets of leds before they died again

if the psu is stuck on wouldnt it stay on after you unpluged the logic board, it still would have 110v going to it

If the power supply board has pull-up resistors on the PS-ON and BL-ON (O/F) pin for running power supply board self test, then the power supply will be fully on.
So you can test that by running the power supply board by itself and check the DCV on the PS-ON pin to see what you have, and the DCV between the two legs of the main filter caps (either one of them) laying on the side will have close to 400 VDC if the power supply is ON.

Something is not making sense right now.

                                    Your earlier post:
when you power the set up ps_on goes to 3.34, the dim goes to 3.09 and the o/f goes to 3.32. when you power the set off the ps_on stays at 3.34v and the dim stays at 3.09 volts. the o/f does go to 0volts.

But right now you have PS_ON = 0 V and you have boosted Voltage of 377VDC.

It sounds like ACTIVE LOW, so hook up the power supply back to the main board and check the PS_ON, it should be at 3.34 as your report above, then check the DCV at the main filter cap again to see what you have, it should be around 160 DCV with PS-ON of 3.34VDC.

                                            Hi there !

I'm having an issue for several weeks with my quite old K70 LUX RGB keyboard. I haven't used it for few months, and once I setup up again my desktop computer, I got several dead LEDs on that keyboard. I tried the Corsair troubleshooting thing (disabling options in iCUE, ...) but nothing changed so I conclude that for some reason some LEDs went in retirement...πŸ˜…
Decision taken to change these LEDs as I have access to desoldering iron and binocular magnifier, I wrote a ticket to tech support, hopping to obtain the LEDs reference and... They refused to tell me πŸ™„...

Hi all. This is my second thread. Have a bunch of questions.

I got my hands on a 70 inch Sharp Aquos LC70EQ10U. Not working when I found it.

I replaced the power board (found in eBay) and the TV finally produced an image. Reset it had image and sound.. Went from 2 slow and 2 fast blinks as a fault code to 1 slow 1 fast fault. Lamps or inverters according to the manual. TV is one now, at this moment (looks great w/ ZERO dark spots on screen) but it powering up and producing an image is unpredictable. 3 out of 10 times.

There are 3 leads to the LEDs....

                                            Hello,
on this laptop hp g72 b52sf i have screen problems as you can see with the photo joined in attachments.
the used graphic card is "intel hd graphics" and the id of the integrated screen is : "monitor/SEC3354".
i verified the driver of the pΓ©ripherals and they are ok. i verified the definition and settings of the graphic card and of the screen : definition 1600x900 and refreshment frequency :60hz. (they are the sames for the graphic card and the screen).

Sharp LC-39LD145K No Power to LEDs
                                            by Easky15
Hi all, Been a while since ive had to use this forum,
I have here a Sharp LC-39LD145K that works fine apart from no power to the backlight LEDs, I have stripped it right down and tested all LEDs and they all work fine, I can see them flash briefly for a split second when powered up, the voltage to them slowly drops away after the flash so im guessing there is an issue with the power board,

I think the model number on that is 17IPS20 and here is some pics of it

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated,

                                            Thanks...

                                            USB problems?
                                            by Hondaman
Recently I discovered my SSD died (OCZ/Toshiba 240 GB). It was in a USB enclosure, attached to the Linksys WRT-AC1200 router. Since then I removed the USB enclosure and attached it to my Win7 PC (AMD 8150 CPU, 970 chipset, 64 GB RAM). I also gathered one or two other USB enclosures to figure out what is going on.

(I suspect that I lost quite a few MP3 and FLAC files I recently ripped from my audio CDs, I think I lost very little un-replaceable stuff.)

I think it is IMPOSSIBLE for Win7 to have any problems with a USB enclosure as long as Win7 knows how to speak to the...
