Panasonic DMP-BD87- Unit Stuck On 'Hello'

Hello all. I got this BluRay player some time ago and it has a problem...

Upon plugging it in, it does nothing. Pressing 'Power' switches it on. Upon powerup, it says 'Hello', does not output a picture, and the disc tray ejects and returns once. After that, I have to unplug it and plug it back in again to get a disc back. Pressing 'Power' once it's on will NOT power down the unit.

What is going on here? Thanks.
Don't buy those $10 PSU "specials". They fail, and they have taken whole computers with them.

My computer doubles as a space heater.

PS5 Disc Not Supported/ Disc Not Recognized Board Num: EDM-020
    by Junior††

    Good Afternoon fellas,

    Issue:
Disc is showing as not supported when a disc is put in.

Here's what I've done, you can skip this if you just wanna know the question:
    - replaced with a disc drive from a donor ps5 (honestly questionable if this is known to work)
    - reflowed the disc drive connector
-reflowed the chip in question (shown on image)
    - I will say this console was very dusty so it's conceivable that it got so hot that it made the chip joints cold and potentially other things on the board

    Question:
    I...

Panasonic TC-P55ST50 8 blinks then no blinks
    by Andre Gilbert
Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here🤔?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting 😂.

    I'm stuck . Panasonic TH-L32U20M panel's boards issue
    by Ancient1
    Hi

The TV seem to start ( blinking green) but goes into blinking red. No display and or backlight. Full view photo.

    Actions :

    1. Disconnected Panel's Right, 2nd, board : TV comes ON (steady green , no blinking red )
1a. You can see in two photos the B/W screen , fading blue "HDMI12" , and the wierd sides of the image, like an old CRT.
Obviously the fault is from or on the Right, secondary board

    2. I taped the Flex tracks, ~2 tracks at a time- see Photo. The issue seems to be on the V lines (Assuming Data...

Dell Optiplex 7490 AIO - red power led after flash
    by Mark01
    Hi guys,

This is my first post! 🚀
I have no idea what I’m doing, but I’m learning by trial and error.

I’m currently working on a Dell Optiplex AIO 7490—one of a bunch of AIOs that mysteriously failed to POST just a few days after the warranty expired. The original issue was that the PC worked fine until it was rebooted, after which it got stuck on a black screen (no backlight), with fans spinning at normal speed and a solid white power LED. Forcing it off by holding the power button would just cause it to switch on automatically and get stuck again on...

Repair of an LG split AC system indoor unit PCB
    by ngml
I am trying to repair an LG split AC indoor unit, which does not start and gives a CH05 error code.
This indicates an error in the communication between the outdoor and the indoor unit.
The outdoor unit is fine, so the problem is the indoor PCB.
The indoor unit is an LG PC09SQ NSJ (3SNM09JA2FA), and the PCB has the following type number: EAX35907219-1.2 (see photo1)
I changed optocouplers ICO1X & ICO2X and the NPN transistor S9013 which drives optocoupler ICO2X (see photo2), but this did not remedy the fault.

Does anybody have the schematics of this board,...
