I have Sylvania LC320SS8 TV as soon as i plug in the power cord the tv powers up by itself the power light would flash green about 3-5 times then back red to standby. I check the transformers on the inverter board for opens, found one was open and repaired the open connection. The Tv still powers up by itself when powers cord is plugged in the outlet. Now the power light flashes green about 83-85 times the back light would turn off then power light will continue flashing fast about 20-24 time then back red to standby. Not sure what else is bad Please Help

Re: Sylvania LC320SS8 Power light flashes 3-5 times then back to standby
Hi, Not sure if this is your problem or not, but on the inverter board you have the inverter transformers on one side,, on the opposite side near the edge middle ways you will find a capacitor of 0.1uf 50v . This was the issue with the Sylvania LC320SS8 that i worked on which was doing pretty much exactly as yours is doing now..i replaced mine with a myler 0.1uf (104) temporarily to see if it solved the problem and it did,,afterwards i replaced it with the correct cap.
try and see if this cap reads high on the ESR meter if you have one, most like mine only go down to 1uf, but you should be able to get an idea of it's state regardless..mine read 47 ohmComment

Re: Sylvania LC320SS8 Power light flashes 3-5 times then back to standby
Have you compared the primary and secondary of each of the inverter transformers to see they are identical or close to each other.
When the backlights do come on can you see if one of the tubes are not coming on. Darker section across the screen.Last edited by dick_barton; 06-30-2017, 07:03 AM.Willing to help but I'm no expert.Comment

by NicktronicHey Everyone,
So I've got this Samsung and the reported issue is that when powered on the backlight comes on, but no picture, no sound, it will flicker, the standby light will flash red twice and repeat the whole process...each loop lasts about 15 seconds.
I've googled the issue and understand it is likely a panel/driver board issue, but was hoping the "tape method" could be successful. Before I did that though, I disconnected the left LVDS cable and powered the TV on. This time I got sound, no picture and the two blink standby light stopped. Did the same...03-27-2023, 07:01 PM -
Hello everyone,
I got a Samsung The Frame 55 inch TV for free from uncle cause it is not turning on anymore. I am in the second year of training as an electrician so I have knowledge already but I am far away from to be a pro.
The TV has Standby but ist not turning on. A Friend of mine owns a 50 inch Frame TV so I checked the One Connect Box and the One Connect Cable there. Both are good and working normally. I have opened the TV case and measured some voltages on the Board.
What I already found is that the 12.8V are not an the connector to the main board connector to the power... -

Got this Samsung LED tv. Plug set in standby light comes on steady. Switch on Standby light flashes 2 times for a sequence of 5.On the psu I only get the a5v coming out. Disconnect PSU from Main board, backlights come on and all the PSU voltages come up. When in fault mode there are no voltages on any of the regulators on the main board. Yet the processor must be working otherwise it wouldnt change when the set is switched on. Also none of the chips on the main board are getting warm.
The PSU board is BN44-00502C
Hoping soene can help
Thanks

by esqmoooHi,
I'm facing this issue since this morning. When I try to power it on, the CAPS lock light flashes 7 times (or 6 if not counting the first one when the power button is pressed). The charging light is always on as if the laptop was connected to the charger. The issues started gradually where it would flash the light but after trying multiple time it would power on. I tried to open it and I noticed one coil "1R0 2127" gets hot when the charger is connected. Note: the charging light directly comes on when the battery is connected or the charger is connected.03-07-2025, 05:55 AM -
by AleMontiHi everyone,
I'm trying to troubleshoot and repair this old LG OLED curved TV, model 55EG910V.
I did some basic troubleshooting and reviewed most related posts here, but I wasn't able to isolate the issue.
The TV shut itself off during playback and never came back to life - the standby light remains off. My dad claims that it has happened a few times in the past but the issue resolved itself after some time. Not this one.
After checking the basics I did the following:- I measured all voltages and as expected the only active supply is the 3.5V standby. It
