Hello,
I am hoping that someone is able to assist with a fix for my home theater situation. I recently purchased a 55" Sony 930D from Magnolia. The previous TV I replaced had a lot of issues with picture quality so we upgraded to fix it, instead the problem continues to persist. The video tends to have massive macroblocking on regular, HD, and 4k. The colors are often off and to give an example is black with shadows will typically show up more of a green or faded green. The audio is sometimes off but can be fixed by going into the tv settings and turning off the audio sound compression feature and turning it back on. We have replaced the TV thinking maybe it was a bad board or processor, I have replaced the HDMI cables to ensure cables were not bad, we've even add a Panamax power conditioner to ensure it wasn't some sort of problem with the power going into the device and causing problems. The problem happens on my Comcast box, on my PS4, Xbox one, any streaming programs such as Netflix of Amazon video, we even removed all items from the TV and ran Netflix through the Android TV build int.
After all of this Best Buy has no clue what could be causing it, the only thing left they can think of is some sort of RF/Magnetic interference because the TV they replaced work without issue when they plugged it in at the store to test after it was swapped. I am at a loss and the picture quality is terrible. If anyone has any suggestions or alternative ideas from what Best Buy thinks I would appreciate it. I should note I also turned everything in the breaker box off except where the TV was to help rule out if something like my washing machine or appliances were causing the interference.
