Yes, you can, insert it into the block for eeprom. Select the microcircuit, then "I2C", then "Generic" and select _24C256.Comment

contacted umc, they supplied incorrect f.w: cv306_merge.bin
now menus wont come up ,
(original fault loss of sound after 3 seconds)Comment

The file (Dump), which you now want to read, has already been updated with an incorrect "cv306-merge.bin" file, but I need it before the update, the bin file can be packed into winrar.Comment

sorry my mistake .i did not read the data before the update
the tv was fine but no sound ,after the umc update no menu or sound
i read the spi using ch341a the spi number is 25q328vsig
the nearest on the list of programmer ,i used w25q256fv
does that matter ?
im still learning as ive only used the ch341a a few times
i did try the update a few times ,could that be why the dump is larger than normal?Comment

Is it native spi flash? There should be 25Q32 or 25Q64, but not like 25Q256.
And if there is no sound, this does not mean that the matter is in the firmware, there may be another problem in the hardware.

this ic is the original
it does not look like it was changed in the past
its possible that the spi number is 25q32"b"vsig
not 25q328vsig
as the markings are so small ive used two magnifiers to get the best chance of accurate reading
the pic looks similar but not the same
the board markings are CV306H-X
then the second number is 27T1005A D

Count again, like 25Q32, and lay it out again, the size should be 4Mb.Comment

Hello, This might be a long shot, but I'm looking for an EEPROM dump for a HP Photosmart C4280 All-in-one printer.
The printer seems to be in cartridge alignment mode. Sometimes it print the alignment page and then hangs during the scanning step, sometimes it hangs during the printing process and sometimes it hangs during the boot process. If I let it idle for a while then it flashes the back-light of the top screen and there's a letter E. Bottom screen is asking me to restart it to no avail. I have to remove the power cable from the printer for a couple of minutes to make it work...02-17-2022, 09:09 PM -

I was working all day on a 42" with no backlight = Driver is bad . LED Tester. Image exists
As I was reassembling, I discovered faults on the screen ( used the LED Tester to power the strips).
Right distribution board, 2 Flexs, near them:
The one near the center has 1" line on screen. Pressing on the board-side or Panel side of the Flex bonding place results in some change, I sensed heating one time, but main fault line remains
The other, pressing on the Panel to the Chassey and the lines disappears 99.99%
