@R_J, yes the ICs match a few on both of those schematics, and the RCA/SuperVHS panel matches both.

I've saved both those out for future reference.

It looks like that base chassis is used for a few brands of tv, all with their own changes. Just google the chassis number and brands like Hyundai, Akira & Erisson show up. but no Akai service manual
