    Tx-p42u3ob

    So I'm a little stuck on this one, I have a plasma TV that won't come on, relays click a few times then nothing, the green led on front of TV flashes a few time think its 6 time to fast to count lol, I don't normally do a lot of plasma so bit of a loss really any help where to start

    Check SN board for shorts. Usually the ones that goes bad are Q401, Q402, Q421, Q422

      so im a bit new to this sorry to say iv found the parts on the sn board but unsure how to test the components, the most i do with tv is replace BAD CAPS and boards iv only really just started out repairing tv on the side

        Well put the multimeter scale on ohms, like 2k, and then check resistance between the legs of those IGBT's, so 1-2, 1-3 and 2-3, and if you find a short (low ohms) next step is to unsolder them from the board.

          ok so i checked the IGBT's and these a short on all of them, so what will be the next step after removing them? the SN board is reading a short on connecter SN2

            Maybe do some research on these U30B sets it will help rather than making a thread thats just pointless.
