As soon as I replaced them with RJH3047, the TV fired up straight away.

So what is the success rate of the FGD4536TM?
Ive used them a few times not an issue, maybe you got fakes ?

Are they normally small? Heres what the packaging looks like and a size comparison.

FGD4536TM is working perfectly even from RS. Batch from rs ends with AA i think.

Maybe you got a bad one? Voltages going to ysus are ok? 215v?

I dont know why your fets blow up but i dont have any problems with the fgd4536tm. All my repairs work with these fets.

Very peculiar. And the fgd's are so much smaller and easier to work with. I'm just not having any luck.

Hmmz back to the drawingboard. The last board with the missing pad turns on but the picture is not good. TPVsus is 215v so thats good.

Board does the same in a different tv. Its a problem somewhere in the recovery section and i think it happened after rjp63g4 exploded taking out IC921.

Service manual does not list all the components so my best bet is replacing the whole left side around ic921.

Anyone any suggestions? The screen slowly comes to live...

I ordered 50 FGD4536 ibgt's from them and recieved 50 fucking blanks, useless Chinese forgeries for $44. I can get a full refund if I spend at least $15 to ship the garbage back to China for some other person to buy. I decided I would like to publicly disgrace them and just eat the $44. They advertised them as used but working. They came in a strip of new FAKES that looked nothing like the real ones. BEWARE OF THOSE SHADY BASTARDS!

                                    Hi,

I have an Asus Rog Strix B360-I Gaming with missing parts. I know there is a resistor missing for sure, but nearby it seems there might have been also a transistor or mosfet. Below the picture of the area on the board with the missing parts. The interesting area is inside the rectangle.

I'd appeciate if somebody could make a detailled picture of this area from a working board and post it here. Getting the parts values would also be helpful. The revision of the board is 1.02 .

                                    Thanks in advance...

I decided to take one of the Rubycon capacitors out of a phat Xbox 360 with a Zephyr motherboard and noticed that all the Rubycon capacitors near the CPU were fake. The capacitors in question are Rubycon MFZ 680uf 6.3V and they all have a bullseye bottom, something not found in genuine Rubycon capacitors. None of them were leaking, they all have the K top, and the system has never been opened before. It appears Microsoft was using fake capacitors in the Xbox 360, or the Chinese facility where the console was manufactured in was using them and passing them off a genuine. Just thought I'd share...

I read in quite a few of the requests for help on plasma sets, the concerns over hard to tell fake replacement parts and the damage they do when fitted and blowing the circuit boards. Because these parts are no longer available from the original suppliers the Internet appears to be the only place to find them.

Many members have through trial and error found suitable substitute replacements still currently available through official supplier.

Would it be an idea to have a thread giving the suggested replacement parts for hard to get components.

                                    Just...
