Good day folks. As the title suggests, I've got this cheapy Finlux 22F905FHD LED TV which doesn't turn on. When you plug it in, the white led at the front begins flashing non-stop. I believe it's not a power supply issue, since measuring the outputs with a multimeter shows both 12v and 5v on their respective pins. I tried unplugging the flex cable that goes to the LEDs, but that didn't change anything either. I believe it's a bad motherboard I'm dealing with, more specifically a corrupt firmware, since I read in many places that firmware corruption is the most common reason for blinking power lights on these Vestel-based TVs. The MB is a 17MB60-2. I haven't actually done any "software repairs" on TVs before, though I've read about what should be going on: find the right firmware, place it on an USB drive, plug USB drive in, plug TV while holding in the OK key on the remote and it SHOULD flash the firwmare...or something along those lines. Could someone perhaps help me with this issue ? Feel free to correct me, of course...I can provide pictures too if need be.

Re: Finlux 22F905FHD power LED blinks continuously (possibly bad firmware?)
Just tried the file suggested and unfortunately it didn't seem to do anything: I formatted the USB drive, copied the 3 files to it, plugged it into the TV, held down the OK key, plugged the TV in and it seemed to flash just like before. I read somewhere that the LED should blink faster if done right....I either got the wrong files, or there's a dead component indeed, in which case it's going in the bin, since the time/effort required to work it out doesn't make it worthwhile.Wattevah...Comment

Re: Finlux 22F905FHD power LED blinks continuously (possibly bad firmware?)
not sure what to suggest now unless you can remove the ic and program the files you downloaded on to it as it may work that way but as such a small tv, i dont usually bother repairing less than 26in sets no one seems to want any smaller sets nowadays.Comment

True...I'm doing this for work, so I couldn't give a monkey's if it doesn't work really, esp. for such a small one for which I couldn't have cashed in too much anyway.Wattevah...Comment

by piernovHi,
Got a Finlux 65-FUC-8060 TV that doesn't turn on, 5V standby present from PSU, 3.3V on mainboard present, button signal gets pulled low when pressed, but mainboard never sends signal to PSU to turn main rails on.
I suspect corrupt firmware but I haven't been able to find anything for this TV.
TV model: Finlux 65-FUC-8060
Mainboard: Vestel 17MB130S 23473048
Panel: VES650QNTS-2D-U11
At the very least looking for a firmware that can make it turn on to confirm the problem, and hopefully a firmware that's compatible with the panel. -
by TheUserHello to everyone ,

Docker Type-C Gen 2 - Model 40AS. Was given to me by a friend for free ,but with the problem that you cannot use the video output ports.
All ports work , USB , Ethernet, Type C ... but HDMI + Display Port don't work
I searched on reddit and google for problem similar to that, and a LOT of people had fixed this problem by updating the firmware. So i tried , i searched and found 1.1.13 utility and 1.1.20 utility that can help...02-10-2024, 02:07 PM -
by gurj1979Hi guys.
I've got a Ubiquiti US-8-150W POE switch which has issues with updating the firmware.
Turned out to be a bad EEPROM chip. It would read the firmware and work as normal, but failed to write new firmware to it.
So I took off the chip and read on EEPROM and saved it. Wrote to old chip and failed to write
Got New chip and writes good.
THE PROBLEM...
It fails to fully load the firmware, POE lights fail to work during g firmware test during load. I'm suspecting bad EEPROM Read.
Does anyone have a Good Firmware I can have?...-

by wattageHello Badcaps Community,
I purchased a preowned AOC monitor that is not working and out of warranty. It was sold as not working. I am looking for guidance on self-repair. In particular, I am after the firmware for the monitor. At the end, I have included monitor model information and links to pics and vids of the issue.
The problem is that it will not display a picture on any of its inputs. And the on-screen menu does not appear. The power button works properly. It powers on with the remote as well. But the on-screen menu does not appear, even when not connected to any...-
