So looks like someone is blocking or not approving Diah's posts, well if you don't need his posts I guess you don't need mine either, I'm done till it's straightened out.

              The motherboard is 17MB95 ???.
              1. Format a stick with fat32
              2. Put a folder called downloadprofile.mb95 on the stick
              3. You turn on the TV
              4. Insert the USB stick
              5. Type MENU 4725 and go to USB Operations
              6. Press OK on the remote control
              7. Wait 5 seconds and remove the stick
              8. Post the files here to see if the satellite function is activated.

hi Yokoono, thanks i did that - here the documents. If I understood the information in the Menu right - the "Satellite Support" is "No" - before I crashed and rebooted the TV it worked with satellite. thanks for you help in advance.

It is ridiculous, who REDESIGNS a site and just makes it worse in every way? That is what seems to have happened.

If you haven't rewritten the software, try a factory reset first. MENU 4725, Diagnostic, Factory reset, OK.

sorry that i wrote so unclear. i rewritted it, cause i didnt start at all. I did it like it was written in Post 9# with the 3 attached documents - with while plugging electric holding the "ok button" and at least it started again and showed the menu ( without satellite) - maybe i have the wrong data? sorry i m really not so good in TV or computing...

                          Try:

                          3. Unzip and put the 3 files in the folder.
                          4. You turn on the TV
                          5. Insert the USB stick

Diah, if you read this, I put smdflea's response here, he surmises that 4 ? marks may have triggered the spam filter, I can say that I have seen less spam since the overhaul, was wondering if I would ever find anything good about it, lol:

                                      by naddaw000
Hello, I am trying to bring back to life my Toshiba 55U7863DG, which has never been the most reliable device - keep on annoying me with its slowness and some random start-up/shutdown issues requiring to unplug the AC. But yesterday it finally said goodbye and decided to not turn on again. Green light is blinking, I've seen this behaviour before and thought that these are some temporary whims again, but unfortunately not this time.

I have checked that my TV is build based on the 17MB130S board, which seems to be quite popular and easy to buy as a used one. Still I would like to ask...

                                      Good Day.

i downloaded firmware from sony and there is no .pkg fike.. after extracting it gives another file which contains multiple files like inf, payload.bin and 3, 4 other files. i just did that usb but did not worked. anyone knows anything how to do it..?

green amber blinking stops after while and then starts again. tv responds to remote control on off etc. before installing new tcon backlite was coming on without backlite...
