Hi there,
I'm a new non-tech guy here and I'm having a problem with my LG 55inch TV model number 55LE5900. The TV turns on fine then when it shows the 'No Signal' message that specific region is distorted horizontally a lot and a bit vertically as well. On top of this NONE of the inputs seem to be working -hdmi, component, scart etc...
Background:
My TV started making a loud noise every time it turned on and I opened it up and found that the speakers would just make the noise so I decided to remove them and then when I turned the TV back on the flickering started.
I have checked all the caps and there are no bloated/blown caps. I have tried removing, adjusting and cleaning the ribbon but it does not work. On top of this all my inputs have stopped working - no hdmi port/component input works. I have tried removing all the wires connecting the seperate boards and none of them seem to be causing the issues.
I'm pretty sure the logic board(is that what its called?) is the fault and not the t-con or power board but all suggestions greatly appreciated.
