    Panasonic plasma noise filter

Hello and thanks in advance for any help. I have been working on a tv and getting advice from another thread on this forum: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...047#post700047
However, I felt like I should start a new thread.

The noise filter on the tv I am working on no longer has 120v coming out of it that it needs to power the power supply board. I purchased a new one "Panasonic Plasma Noise Filter K2AHYH000043". However when I test it in has no power coming from it either when plugged in.

I bypassed it and my tv comes on and works. Are there different versions of
Panasonic Plasma Noise Filter K2AHYH000043 bc the one I ordered has different numbers than the one that came in the tv originally.

Will it harm the tv to permanently bypass the noise filter and connect power to the main board?

    Thanks!

It should work fine without it.
Can you post here pictures of both of them (sticker close-up).

Maybe try to change the power cable, maybe the wires inside are damaged because of the bended cable, but as i said it should work fine without it.

Did you check continuity from a/c input to the output? there are only a couple coils in each line, maybe try a different a/c cord, sometimes the pins in the cord are further in than others so they don't make contact with the filter pins.
I don't think I have ever had to replace one.
