yes put the psu back in the tv connect it all up as how it should be and carfully test voltage across that capacitor again

with the bulb tester i turn on the tv.
once bulb lights and within in a second it turns off
after discharging the 450v cap it lights up for another second,

its up to you if you fit a new fuse and you still have a short theres a chance you will blow the new fuse plus extra parts using this tester if you have a short when you plug the tv in the bulb lights bright so indicates a short if bulb goes dim its usually ok too power up etc so up too you if you build one a lot of us on this site probably use one a lot too save newly fitted parts.Leave a comment:

let us know when you have your new fuse also it maybe worth you building a dim bulb tester to test your psu for shorts as it saves blowing new fuses and more parts i have attached a picture of basic one that easy to build with parts you may have alreadyAttached FilesLeave a comment:

Hi everyone,
I've got this LG TV here that wouldn't turn on and be stuck in a standby loop (blinking red once every other second).
Did test the following:
* LED's seem fine as they all light up using LED Tester
* Power Supply supplied around 111V for each LED Strips (2x edge lid strips)
* PWR_ON would be at around 3V but dropping every other second (just like the standby light)
* DRV_ON is doing the same
* power supply has a green LED onboard, but that doesn't seem to do anything (stays off the whole time).
* there is a tiny clicking... -
Hi there,
I have this ASUS X453MA Laptop that's not turning on. When I plug in the charger, the green light just keeps on blinking and pressing the power button does nothing.
I have checked the charger and it is giving 19+ V
I have disconnected the battery and pressed power button for 30 seconds.
I tried another RAM stick.
Tried disconnecting the keyboard and touchpad.
Tried disconnecting the HDD and the wifi adapter.
The problem persists.

Hello, i have some issues with my laptop Lenovo Y700-17ISK (motherboard BY511 NM-A541), it started when i turn on the laptop, but the lcd wont turn on, i then connected it via hdmi to tv and screen was ok. So i thought maybe lcd stripe is faulty, i removed the bottom cover, disconnected main battery, reset the cmos by disconnecting battery for 1 min, then slighty move the lcd stripe. Conncted power supply and tuned on my laptop, the lcd turn on, it started to load os, then it turn off, after a second it turn on, then after like 3 seconds turn off again, and so on. Removed power supply, waited... -

I was looking for a schematic or board view but unfortunately I didn't find anything.
By connecting the drain and source of pq58, the device turns on and works perfectly, but the battery doesn't charge, and I don't know the path of the circuit to the MOSFET.
Is the problem with the adapter? Or is there a problem with the MOSFET activation circuit?
Please guide me.

Let me tell you a little bit about what happened to my laptop (MSI GF63 THIN 11UCX model: MS-16R6) that “maybe” you know how to solve this problem.
So before this problem happened, my laptop was running smoothly. When I wanted to restart my laptop, it looked fine at first. But after I waited for this restart process to take a long time, until finally I panicked (because the restart process did not finish plus the laptop screen only showed a black screen), I immediately pressed and held the power button to force the laptop to turn off.
