    Pioneer 1150HD powering on issues...

So my Pioneer 1150HD has recently started having fits.

If I plug it in and press the standby button in the lower left the red light comes on to indicate standby. Pushing neither the remotes power button or the TV's power button (on the right side next to the channel and volume buttons) will do anything.

However, eventually (within a couple minutes) the TV will turn itself on. It takes a little bit for the unit to boot up but then displays a "Powering Up, please wait" display. If I go into the home menu the Tuner option is grayed out. Note the TV does respond to the remote during this time.

After another minute or so of messing with buttons or leaving it alone it will turn off with the 12 blinking blue light pattern.

I have tried doing a reset via the remote, but since it doesn't respond to the power button on the TV or remote I cannot seem to get it to do the reset.

My initial thought and research is the 12 blinking lights is related to the TV guide information and I want to reset it so I can set the guide to 00000 to disable it, but without being able to get into the reset option I cannot do that.

Thank you in advance for any thoughts or advice.

I have not disassembled the rear of the TV yet, figured I would inquire before doing that. I will work on disassembling it today.

Before I disassemble it, should I remove it from the stand and lie it flat?

Weird, I cannot explain why it happened, but I unplugged it over night and after plugging it back in it works fine this morning. I disabled the TV guide information just in case (setting the zip to 00000s).
