    Sharp LC-C4067U Video problem

    Aloha Folks!
I have the above Sharp TV that had a blown out T-CON board (blown fuse, shorted bypass cap and cooked chip). I put in 2 replacement boards, purchased off eBay, and I get the result shown in the picture. Pressing "Menu" or any other buttons does not change the display.
Is this a main board problem?
    Mahalo!

Turns out it's a bad panel. I found a melted/shorted section on one the ribbon cables going to the panel.
Another TV for the recycler! Too bad!

I just wanted to say... by all that what is / was blown... the panel would be most likely bad.

You could have tested the LVDS with an oscilloscope while turning the menu on off all the time. That could have told you that the main board was actually O.K.
