Hello fellow badcapers,
I have found a mainboard replacement for the LG TV I am having issues with. Any mainboard flexing or vibrations set of complete corruption of all TV menus and graphics.
Replacement board -

The board above states its from TV model number PC42S5H
My TV has following model name and type number on the back - 42D5S PC42S5
I can see that the board will fit and has same connectors, it has some additional inputs that are covered on my chassis, this wont be an issue as I can cut out the plastic sheet used to blank out the ports.
I have a fairly in depth schematic and adjustment guide for this model, it states that when changing the mainboard ATM Channel fixing and White balance adjustment need to be performed.
To do this I need access to the service menu.
I don't have the original remote, any way to get around this and access service menu for these adjustments if they are needed?
thanks guys
