    TX-P42S10 TNPA4829 6 blinks

    Hi guys

    Well i have a 42s10 that has a 6 blink problem.
I got the set and from inside it looks horrible, full of dust, smoke from cigarettes, just a lot of thermal stress from what i can tell just looking it inside.
So the problem is that nothing is shorted on SC and i have 6 blinks. Culprit is MID voltage that raises up to 50-55V and that's what triggers the error, i assume.
Other voltages are up to spec, it's only this one that is making problems. I have a working TNPA4844 which i fixed few days that also had almost the same problem with MID voltage which was raising up to 155V. Fixed that with changing IC521 which was leaky on pin 7, and Q441 and Q452, also leaky.
So i am comparing this working TNPA4844 with this TNPA4829 and can't find any difference in measurements.
I may change the driver but readings are the same.
Any thoughts what can cause problems with MID voltage?

Have all the diodes been checked?

I had a similar saga with mid at 147V and 55V on a 4782 but I can't pinpoint what it was I did that fixed it but here's the link, maybe you'll spot something.

the 42VT30 that i fixed also had 6 blinks. Was the driver ic on the SC board.
I only repair Panasonic plasma tv's! Currently owning a TX-P55VT50 and still searching for a ZT60!

Well it seems that someone was playing before with this one. So i saw c563 soldered bad, also ic561 and ic562. Resoldered them and afterwards tried board with sc50 shorted. Green light was on! Connected buffers and plugged in tv, mal discharging, obvious SS fault, and after 3-4 seconds something popped, and it shutdown with 4 blinks
SS shorted (TNPA4830), SC looks ok, but didn't test it thoroughly, it's a bit late here
So tomorrow is SS board day probably

Guys please give me some advice for this one.
Repaired SS board, Q001, Q002, Q022 went short, originaly 2PG006, replaced them with DG502LW. Also shorted Q101 2sk3995, replaced that one with RJK2017.
Now i'm back to 6 blinks
This MID voltage is driving me crazy, nothing shorted but it is always half of what it should be, right now around 50V, and it should be half Vsus which is 209.
No shorts, but something is not working properly.
Any advice what to check exactly in that part of circuit?

          Thanks!

Just some random bits to check if ic521 was bad. q521,522,551, r521,522

I have found out the hard way that going across the sc connector alone can give you a false positive. This means you check it the meter beeps for a few seconds then stops. You reverse the leads and it does it again. You think everything is ok, just a cap full of low meter voltage.sometimes it is spot on. Sometimes NO. Check everything for shorts, some dont show up on the sc connector test.

Panasonic TC-P55ST50 8 blinks then no blinks
                by Andre Gilbert
Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here🤔?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting 😂.

Optiplex 3050 micro 2 blinks followed by 3 blinks issue
                by Taurus12
Does anyone have an idea of what might be the issue with my 3050 micro? I have tried replacing new cmos battery but still the same

I am not sure if its the powersupply that I'm using is the issue since its the original powersupply. its a laptop powersupply with the same specifications with the 3050 micro so i guess it should be fine.

i also tried replacing the bios but with no avail, everytime i try another bios it gives a different blinking lights

Any recommendation on what I have to do next? Thanks in advance

                HP Victus 15-FA1025NL , board DAG3PAMB8D0 REV:D, shorted CPU DrMOS and n-mos

                Hi to all,
the owner of this machine gave it to me after having opened it to take off the dust from the inside, telling me that after that it didn't start anymore.
I found that one of the DrMOS (AOZ5016QI) on the CPUCORE was shorted between VIN and VSWH, and that one of the two n-mos connected to the power jack was shorted aswell.
I unsoldered the two shorted components and verified that there were no other short circuits, then decided to power the mainboard, firstly with the lab power supply, then with its original HP 200w charger, but the behaviour is the same, the board starts...

Hi I'm new to trying to repair TVs, but I saw a broken OLED offered for a reasonable price and thought I'd try my hand at it.

I found the service manual, which was critical to know where to probe.
                https://www.manualslib.com/manual/20...1e-Series.html

With it I was able to determine that my DKA board was bad, when P_ON#1/2 gets enabled REG_12 on the DKA board collapses. I'm assuming one of the downstream regulators has a short, but I couldn't work out which rail/component and replaced the DKA board entirely.

                Unfortunately the 5-blinks...

                Panasonic Viera Plasma TH-42PX75U 7 Blinks/8 Blinks/burned P board?
                by mmischni
                Greetings friends,

I have a Panasonic TH-42PX75U manufactured in 2007. It has been trouble-free until recently. One evening I turned it on and it then powered back off and gave 7 blinks.

First a question about the blinks. Everyone only speaks of a single number of blinks. I noticed on my TV, it blinks one fewer times for the first group of blinks, then blinks the full number repeatedly. So for my first code in question, the TV switches off, blinks 6, then blinks 7 repeatedly. When I disconnected the SC board, the TV switches off, blinks 7, then blinks 8 repeatedly....
