Issue: Sharp LC-30HV4U takes a few tries before it comes on.
Solution: Six 220uF 25V out of nine caps on the power board were blown. Replaced all nine with 220uF 25V caps.
Man, this TV is a beauty. This was one of the first flat screen TVs. Here's a link with more info: http://www.cnet.com/products/sharp-lc-30hv4u/#!
The inputs aren't on the TV. They are in a VCR sized boxed that you plug into the TV. Beautiful picture. I shudder to think how much this thing was brand new.
Pics below show the back cover off and a closeup of the affected area.
