HDMI connection. no signal unless TV rebooted!

Hi, I have a Goodmans G58238T2SMART4K-V2 made by Cello. When I connect a HDMI source to any of the three ports it shows no signal. I have to unplug the tv mains socket and boot up with no HDMI connected, connect HDMI (still says no signal) and then unplug tv from the mains again and reboot. This time it will appear as it should. Thats fine but when the TV goes into standby and I switch on again it loses connection, but only if in standbye for more than ten minutes!

Logic tells me it is a memory problem? Any help guys?

Will it connect using your remote if you select Menu, Source and then select the HDMI port you are connected to?

well in general when such fault not always exist, hard reset the set could be helpful , if this not help then you have one of L filter of HDMI signal IC switcher got high resistances as its original , its hard to find out which one, unless you use inverter to make the HDMI signal stronger to pass and let it switch it over.

Going to menu/source/hdmi makes no difference, and I will look into your filter solution.
How do I hard reset?

Well I finally got round to opening up. Enclosed mainboard picture. Any help where to check would be gratefully appreciated? tia.

from yours Photo the top right side include image IC all had Oxide. you need to clean all HDMI pin all 3 and the area round with alcohol 95% or above.

Thanks, here is a better picture. I think maybe it was poor quality. I cleaned anyway but still same problem.. Which is the ic I should be looking at?

you have U4 which get switching signal from main processor IC ( under the big heat sink) you wrote it switched HDMI signal if the TV reboot. then consider on Firmware first, and second reflow / resolder U4 , check the three caps at yours first photo any if the + of it go to U4 replace it.
