BGA rework of sure are 100% best method we use it when we do know exact which IC failed, to replace it or per-programming etc .... in this post case he had screen on with logo freeze . main processor not only parts we blame, there are DDR and other SMD parts L - C - R could be involved with. i addressed link not of mine, as i know this LD series had allot of fault by soldering .. at the end its belong to the owner of this post to update us

edit : i can see you have heat type. recover all around main processor include it of both side and use yours heat GUN.. it worth's allot.

      Dear Diah:
last night, I thought about oven bake. Why we hate it ? Maybe we have very bad experience with oven bake. We just throw whole PCB inside the household oven bake it until plastic parts all melted. Manufacture do use OVEN, why can't we?

I would like to have a good fan-assisted oven, and cover all the plastic parts with aluminium foil and try it again. because I have some LG mortarboards have bad solder joints everywhere.

At 2:00 they use convection oven ( a fan-assisted oven).

If they can do it once in convection oven , why did it twice with another molten solder bath!
