    79044120 Dell Monitor

I got this monitor and check used my multi meter to check the volts on the caps. I put my meter to 200 Ohms and then to DCV 20 so I could see the volt drop. I do not have a cap wizard or hany expensive tools like that.

I want to get this monitor running lets see does anyone know what is a common part to go. I see cap kits for this board for $12 I could buy a used monitor of the same linkness at a thrift show for that of less.

So looking for cost effectiveness I also plan to use this screen maybe hook up to my Phone or something.

    Micro usb to hdmi
    Power cable
    vga female hdmi

Make sure your device is OTG Enabled. OTG Allows your device to communicate using USB.

Has anyone had problems heating the Solder it seems like it takes to long. I have used a candle with better results.

Candle place board on aluminum shield and then pull bad capacitors when hot. Is it the solder gun I have or what it is 30w but it is not the best.
