I have a similar problem with my Sharp Aquos LC-60C8470U
But the lines completely go away when i change the setting to AquoMotion480
The lines are only visible with a grey or neutral color backround, and are not visible on white and barely on black backround.

Probably because for 480P aqua motion uses a different part of the gate drivers that haven't been affected.

Almost have to see a picture with both modes To tell you what's really going on

Also experiencing this problem...disconnected the right circuit(if looking at front of tv) image went clear vs the flickering but had a horizontal line at the very top... obviously the right side of the screen went darker as well. So you're telling me, if I cut those tabs/ribbon cables, the flickering will stop, horizontal line will disappear, and the screen comes back to normal in regards to brightness?

Solid info in this thread. My 70 is suffering from the rolling flicker. Gonna try to diag and fix tonight. I'll update.
