    The marking on the mosfet are:

    H24
    FQPF
    3N80C

      The layout is in the diagram attached. Set your meter to diode mode and there should only be one low diode reading between Drain & Soure. All other readings should be high to OL

        It will be later today before I can fully check the readouts as I am not currently at home, but from memory, it was the 2 outer legs that showed continuity... so the gate and the source.

        When measuring from the gate to drain or drain to source, the readings were roughly .5 or 1.9, depending on probe orientation.

          i would suggest you to go back to yours POST No. 5 D907 take it out from board and check it.

            Also check everything in between the Mosfet gate and the FA5531

              Re: Vizio VW37L TV - no 5v standby voltage

              I did find a faulty Mosfet gate. However, I am unsure as to whether it was an integral component to the initial problem I was having or just another problem in general. That being said, after checking all the suggested components from the previous posts, I am still unable to get the 5v standby voltage.

              Also, the voltage on pin 8 of the FA5531 is still bouncing from around 60v to 150v... even after replacing the IC and various resistors. In addition, the voltages on pin #2 and #3 of the IC are no longer yielding a stable voltage, if any at all (one of them switches between 0 and roughly 3v), as compared to before.

              Any one have an idea of what may be the next items to look at?

              Thanks

                Zombie Samsung UN55NU6900F dead / no standby voltage - randomly came to life after hours of troubleshooting then died

                This is my first attempt at troubleshooting a board like this, I know I could just buy a new board but I'm curious to figure out how this works. I've been testing different components in the evenings this week and I think the problem is with the IC failing to start up for some reason. When the board is plugged in there is no standby voltage.

                Then today it randomly sprung to life like a zombie but shortly died thereafter. I have no idea why it would have done that and its the first time I've seen it running. I discharged capacitors on the board last night, then it was sitting today....

                Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?

                I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

                Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

                I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

                The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

                With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                Assuming...

                I have no standby indicator light and no light on the optical port. I checked the standby voltage on the two mosfets in the top left and they both read 30mV. I checked the fuse and it has continuity. I also checked the voltage on the two large 450v caps they both read 153v. All of these voltages are the same with and without the main board connected as well as with backlights connected/disconnected.

                Nothing looks obvious like a burned ceramic disc cap or bulged electrolytic. No burned resistors, diodes, or anything like that....

                Vizio E550i-b2e no standby voltage

                Hi All, I have a vizio e550i-b2e that has no standby voltage. I am hoping some one can help. I am getting 10-14volts bouncing at pin 5 of ic901 (Vcc). According to the data sheet for that ic I need atleast 16v for it to turn on. I did a thermal scan and the only thing that glowed was d901....

                Hello,
                I have a problem with this TV, the standby voltage is not present. I have checked the components around the IC fsq510's area and they seem to work, also replaced this IC but the problem persists.
                These are the voltages in some pins of IC fsq510:
                Vcc=18v
                D=320v
                Vstr=154v
                Unfortunately, I couldn't find the schematic
                What else could I check?
                Is it possible to provide standby voltage from an external source to allow the TV to turn on?
                Thank you...
