Panasonic TX-37LZD80 - Tcon Fuse Blown

    Hello All,
I ordered a replacement Tcon for this set which arrived today and on checking prior to installation, found the 1.6A, 24V smd fuse was open circuit. The fuse is markesd as “162 NCC” and some information can be found at the following site.

After checking for any shorts on the board I powered up the set and used an external power supply with current limit set to power the Tcon.

The set appears to be working fine. The photo is for an identical Tcon.

Does anyone know where I can obtain a replacement smd fuse for it.
    Thanks

Re: Panasonic TX-37LZD80 - Tcon Fuse Blown

      Hello Alastair,
It was because I found the blown fuse on the original TCON along with other problems with it that I decided to check the replacement Tcon prior to installing it. So unfortunately that option is not available to me.
      Thanks

          Thanks RJ,
After a frantic search I found some semiconductor fuses amongst my very old stock of components. It's higher rated but hopefully OK. It doesn't get in the way of the Tcon cover and sits in nicely. The device fitted was an ICP-NP50, 2.0 Amp
Thanks to all once again for your help.
