    Telefunken TLCD40FHDC Bottom half pic faulty

    Hi Guys,

    Thanks for info in "sony tcon training manual". According to the examples they have, i guess a faulty gate tab bond failure is causing the bounce/ double image in the picture, and gate driver failure causing the failure in the bottom half of the picture. guessing the panel is done, and the set is out. Thanks Budm for the link.

    edit: had originally tried other second hand tcon which produced same result, and wasnt sure if had two tcons with same fault, so scouting through other posts found the link. Thanks again. Mike.

    TCL 49S405 double image
    by howardc64
    LCD displays a 2nd image slighty offset vertically. And multiple pairs of black lines along the bottom. Probably common as google "TCL 49S405 double image" pulls up this ifixit post ( link ) with identical ( nearly, but their fault seems to be on the other half of the panel than mine ) problem without solution.

    This one looks to be a more difficult to diagnose because most? of TCON seems integrated ( CSOT BGA on buffer baord) into the left panel edge board ( looking from rear of TV) There are 2 buffer boards for each 1/2 of the screen. Main connects to the left buffer board...

    TD Systems K50DLG12US half black and half white screen
    by Raulnn
    good night! I have this screen that looks half black and half white. the tcon gives a low vgh value (5-6v). the rest seem fine. I first removed the flex from one half of the panel and then the other. Removing the left, vgh increases it to 25-26v. I think the problem is in that area, but there are not many elements on the integrated controller board. there are no shorted capacitors. could they be a cof? Some help?

    By the way, now the entire screen is black. Maybe some flex was not connected correctly... I have exchanged the flex and there are no variations, I don't think they are the...

    BOE HV650QUB-F70 TCON issue - VGH AVDD HAVDD no voltage - caps seem ok
    by cagri
    I have an Arcelik TV with BOE HV650QUB-F70 TCON board, but I think there's an issue with/around PMIC.
    PMIC: iML8940

    There is backlight and sound, but no picture. I watched a YouTube video and turned it off, half an hour later it was dead.

    Input 12v, fuse ok
    DVDD1V2 = 1.2v
    DVDD1V8 = 1.8v
    DVDD3V3 = 3.3v
    VGL = -7v
    **VGH = -0.3v
    **VCOM0, AVDD, HAVDD = 0v
    SWBK1 = 3.3v
    SW1 = 12v

    VGH to GND resistance is 500kohm as expected

    Readings are same after I disconnected the two cables from TCON to panel...

    Philips 58PUS8545 t-con problem or something else ?
    by atkallu
    Hello
    I have a Philips 58PUS8545 which have a vertical moving lines on screen and it is flashing white vertical lines like a every 3-4 seconds.
    See the attached image.

    I removed left side flex-cable from the t-con and then there was half screen sharp and correct image and other half was white.
    But when I removed the right side flex-cable then half of the screen was white but other half was white and above the white there was vertical lines on half of the screen.

    T-con two flex-cables have been changed to cross but nothing changed, so it is not due those...
