Ok guys i got this for £15 not working, on inspection the 2 pin mains plug was not on power supply, so plugged it back in and it all powered up ok, so i assume someone had been in there before....
But there was 2 light bands on the screen one intermitant and one permanent these were visable while watching tv
i removed screen and removed bottom metel frame so i could see tab driver boards...... EEEK liquid damage (see photos)
i cleaned up any residue and began fixing the damage... a few smd caps, this involved a very steady hand and patience
first off fixed the intermittant band and then decided to document the repair pictures show it from fixing the first band.
last few pics showing screen working and finally complete and put together
job done !
