Sony Bravia KDL 46Z5500 cement fusible resistor broken

Hi,

I need a replacement for it.

Type is RGDSU5MY-4E 6,8Ohm 142°

Does somebody know where I can get one. Sony wasn't helpfull.

No luck with ebay All I found is this, but I don't know if I can use it. The TV is working with 5Ohm, too but I#m not sure about the rest.

Yesterday I bought a little fuse 250V 2A 130° soldered it to the resistor, bend it really tight next to it and put everything together in a silicone hose. But I think I will use another fuse with about 50-60° celsius, because off the missing housing.

, that's the missing link in my previous post . I found this,too.

But I,m not sure about the 5 watt, don't know if the "5" from my old resistor means 5 watt.

I believe that Budm provided you with the answer in post #3 with the pdf chart.
(RGDSU5MY-4E 6,8Ohm 142°)

RGD5M = Model Rated at 2 amps
4E = 2.4W @ 137 deg C
5E = 2.8W @ 146 deg C

I found this pdf some days before I started to post post here, but I thought it was a wrong one, cuz I cracked the housing and on the fuse was written 250V 2A 142°. But if the pdf is correct it should be 137°.

I have to look for a RDG5M-4E then, the "SU" or just "U" is not imprortant?

I could not see any reference to it (SU) but the resistor you show in the picture looks like it has wires at each ends (axial) unlike the ones in the pdf which have both connections at one end (radial)
