Pioneer pdp-lx5080d 3 flashes power board led.

Ok so i have picked up this set.

The service manual seems excellent for this tv i think ive narrowed the fault down to the xsus. Vsus is shorted to sus gnd. If i disconnect the xsus block the set powers up and i get a steady blue led on the front and 207v on the vsus plug. The manual says check q1218 to q1224 and also q1226.

My question is how do i check them or is it likely to have caused other problems too.

Will i need to remove them from the board to check or can i check them in situ. Cheers for the help.

Here is some photos of the board i took a close up where i can see a little heat damage. It is between q1226 and q1220 on the legs between c1104 and c1105

Does it look like this track is starting to fail? Its under q1218 would it be a good idea to solder a link into something else to bypass that track? Cheers.

            Type Designator: FKP300A

            Type of FKP300A transistor: MOSFET

Type of control channel: N -Channel

Maximum power dissipation (Pd), W: 85

            Maximum drain-source voltage |Uds|, V: 300

            Maximum gate-source voltage |Ugs|, V: 30

            Maximum drain current |Id|, A: 30

Maximum junction temperature (Tj), °C: 150

Rise Time of FKP300A transistor (tr), nS: 60

            Drain-source Capacitance (Cd), pF: 540

            Maximum drain-source on-state resistance (Rds), Ohm: 0.065

            Package: TO3PF(FM100)

Would these be ok? Or can anuone suggest a better alternative. Thanks. STW75NF30.

Ok so i got it all sorted. One completly shorted mosfet one with a source to drain short and one had strange readings. I replaced them i found someone on Amazon selling the correct type after reading plenty of threads on here it seemed that mosfets should always be changed like for like.

I didnt have and stand for it and i wasnt too keen on paying 150 quid for one since the tv owes me 56 quid as it stands. I decided to modify a old phillips one as it is only for my own use. I think its worked out quite nice.

LG OLED77G1PUA - No Video / Audio after a TCON Board change and Software Update
                  by Hakuu
                  Hi There,

This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

                  Sony xbr-65x900c main board issues?
                  by jb_Bak
Hey guys great forum glad to have found it. I bought a Sony XBR 65X900C cheaply because it didn't work. No signs of life at all not even a light/led. All I hear is a brief high voltage sound when I throw the power to it.

Didn't see any obvious signs of damage so right away started checking voltages. This is what I see:
Power Board Connector that goes to Main board
                  CN6401
                  Pin 01 NC
                  Pin 02 NC
                  Pin 03 "BL_ON": 0V
                  Pin 04 "N/C"
                  Pin 05 "STBY 3.3V": 3.5V
                  Pin 06 "GND": N/C
                  Pin 07 "AC_OFF"...

Panasonic TC-P54VT25 No image. A or D board?
                  by canadaboy25
I have a Panasonic TC-P54VT25 that will power on and prime the display but there is no image at all.

The panel is primed as there is a slight glow from the entire panel. This means the problem should be logic related. The service manual also confirms this and recommends replacing the A or the D board.

I have tried to get the TV to display the test sequence but I have been unable to and I don't even know if this TV has a test sequence or not. I tried following tom66's instructions in post #3 on this thread https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=26790. There was...

Physically bending the T-Con board creates horizontal dotted lines on OLED55CXPUA
                  by fredtred
                  Hello!
I have been trying to solve this issue the past 12 months to no avail. I have been a lurker here during that time but finally decided to post my problem and see if anybody knows a solution.

                  Problem
My tv (OLED55CXPUA) has an issue where it displays horizonal lines of dotted artifacts.

                  (See Attachment 1)

                  Self Diagnosing
After a very long troubleshooting period I traced the issue to the T-Con board. If I gently flexed/bend the board I could make the display go from GOOD to BAD and vice versa. I have ruled out the connectors/wires...

(SOLVED) - ONN 100012588 No Power, Then Rebooting After Main Board Change

                  ONN 100012588
Issue: No Power, Then Rebooting After Main Board Change

Short answer: replace main board and power board
Technical answer: replace main board and Q306 & Q307 on power board.

                  Long answer:

TV wouldn't turn on. Power switch was fine which means the main board isn't processing the power on signal. Replaced main board. TV turns on now but randomly reboots. Bad main board? EEPROM? Tried to pull main board and got a shock touching the corner of the board. That's weird. C334 (450V 10uf) capacitor is still holding a high charge....
